Losing to Purdue twice by double digits in the same year...Archie obviously has no idea how bad that is for him!

They could have chucked up a 3 pointer every time down the court and have more than 20 points right now....what happened to all that crisp inside passing that they started the game with? Archie needs to understand that beating Purdue is not optional!

I don’t want to open up that can of worms, but just think how different things could have been for Steve Alford if he would have been offered and accepted the Indiana job when CBK was fired. I personally believe he deserved that opportunity over Mike Davis...Alford could have avoided the entire Pierre Pierce ordeal and possibly been very successful at IU all those years ago...I know he would have recruited the State very well!

I think most of us wanted Archie to be the guy...it’s not like it was a few years ago when we were all so divided that no coach could have found support here. Now I believe the right coach would have most everyone pulling for him, it was mostly that way for Archie in the beginning. Stevens would have 100% support and could pretty much have his pick of any kid in the State every year! I believe Chris Beard would also be highly supported and regarded in the State!

Personally, I don’t think that’s enough of an honor. It needs to be the arena or the court in some way...I could see Knight McCracken Court!

There is not another coach of Bob Knight’s caliber that doesn’t have either a court or an arena named after him. Why did they never put McCracken’s name on the court? You are probably right about Knight not allowing it, but something should be done to honor him...it’s time to put this behind us and embrace his legacy and honor him!

I’m not going to go into all the reasons this needs to happen, and I am not going to debate it with people that are either too young to remember all this man did for IU Basketball or too self righteous to let the anger go. Sadly our general may not be here with us much longer...no time to waste, this needs to happen ASAP!

I’ll bet you when the times comes, Duke will make Brad Stevens an offer, IU should at least take a shot when the times comes here!

Chris is only 46 which isn’t that old...he seems a lot younger than that to me too.

The perfect Indiana Coach is out there...not sure he would come here and since he has a good relationship with Coach Knight I’m not sure he would be considered.....his name is Chris Beard!
