Scotty, you're misinterpreting what they're saying which is why you think they're "wrong." I've never seen Chris or Jerry post about something and not be very clear about what's possible or COULD happen (educated guess) vs what they know for a fact WOULD happen. They do not come to these boards saying they know for a fact what the outcome of something like all this smoke will be. They just offer a set of possibilities based on what they're hearing. Sharing a perspective that's based on something other than what you can get from watching on TV. If you choose not to believe it you're certainly entitled not to. But nobody likes a ball buster and I'd hope at your age you'd understand that by now

New game plan guys: Woody gets next year and sets up the NBA model with a GM and our pro day for scouts, etc. We miss the BTT but Dusty May makes the second round. Then we announce Dusty will be joining staff for Woody's 5th and final year as head coach. You want the job? Gotta kiss the ring, son.

Right now I am wondering whether to adopt SHU or UConn as my new primary team that I watch (not necessarily root for but follow closely). I feel like I'd be a front runner to pick UConn, but I feel more connected to them than SHU because I grew up watching Dan and Bob Hurley coach at St Benedict's and Anthony's... that was such fantastic basketball, I can't accept that we don't have a similar standard.

It's hard to care anymore. I will watch the first half tonight just to see how hard they play and how ridiculous the commentary is. Sadly the program we love is not ready to love itself.

Whoever is left on this staff after whatever "shake ups" occur... had better have some DAMN good portal connections. Christ it's like they try to disappoint us.

I will always root for IU because it's my alma mater and a special place to me. But I will have to watch other teams more/instead from here on out. I will be loyal to IU but I will need to put my fan interest into a program that actually wants to be competitive
