I get that. Which is why taking out the scrimmage makes it even worse. It was basically just a "hey look, here's the team. Now go home." And if we don't have enough healthy bodies, that's a whole other conversation because that sounds like a big problem heading into the season.

At this point, it's more worth just going to a women's game. Tickets are cheap and you get a great game. Took my oldest to the Ohio State game last season. Hard to beat a Big Ten game for $20.

My takeaways(though I watched on TV) - Hoosier Hysteria is not what it once was. Kinda boring and watered down. - No scrimmage really sucks. - New formats for 3pt contest is poop and has been poop for as long as they've done it. - Skills Challenge was neat. - Anthony Leal was the only real winner of the night after having the best moment of the night. - Real losers are the fans. - Garzon can light it up. - Scalia can light it up. - Holmes is going to be a 3pt threat. - Mgbakos shot is effortless.

I so badly want a kid to come out like they are Edge or Batista or Triple H at a WrestleMania. I need that energy.

I'd be surprised if Dillingham returned. He seems like a kid ready to leave as a YouTube sensation.

He will be the starting point guard without any doubt. And Kentucky will have a PG/SG duo of Fland/Sheppard for 24-25 likely.

*Positive Chicken* Indiana will be fine. Portal has made things very interesting in college basketball. There will be a veteran point guard to go grab. Also, we want to get back to the glory. We want to seat at the big boy table again. These are the recruiting battles we have to be fighting in. We've won Mgbako and McNeely over Kansas. That's a step. Eventually we will win one over the top dogs in Duke and Kentucky. But we gotta take our steps there. Prove to recruits it's worth coming to IU.

I was insanely optimistic about Ware. That one worked out well. But Trilly put the nail in the coffin here. Woody will have to work his butt off on another recruit or go hard in the portal.

Wall was an All-Star. Knight was pretty good for a bit. Fox right now is really good. Maxey is a 20ppg guy right now. Quickly is a good roll player. Cason Wallace will end up being pretty good. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is probably a top 5-6 point guard in the league along with Fox.

100% guarantee he's going to Kentucky. I mean, can't blame him. Kentucky gets their point guards to the league under Cal. Wall, Knight, Fox, Maxey, Quickly. We just don't have that right now. Cal has the history, we have to recruit off faith it'll work.

Well hopefully Woody can get us back. Indiana sitting at 21 years since last F4. 36 since last title. Only other blue blood to go that long between titles is Kansas. They went 36 years between title #1 and #2. Longest F4 drought is 14 years. UCLA is sitting at 28 years since their last title. Longest F4 drought was 18 years after the 1980 F4 was vacated. UNC went 25 years between title #1 and #2. Longest period without a F4 was only 11 years. Duke went 9 years between title #2-#3 and between #3-#4. Actually sitting at 8 since #4. And longest period between F4s is 12 years. Kentuckys longest period without a title was 20 years between #4 and 5. And longest F4 drought was 13 years between 98 and 2011.
