Point is the bbal program is in no position anymore to be taking a risk on an unproven first year d1 coach. Sure it's possible he works out but he could also flame out in a major way. Archie couldn't handle the pressure. Sounds like ever may didn't want it. There are so many more things to this job then just getting it cause you won at division two. And this isn't a take your time rebuild. People aren't going to be patient after the last two hires. He would need to win right away. Has he dealt with high level agents? First off that was football so if it failed no big deal. Second just because it worked out in one case doesn't mean it will in another. Cig did not really have any pressure the bbsl job will be tremendous pressure from day one. This won't be a give them four years the get their guys. They will need to win and win fast.
