Ehh looked like he was still drifting over to draw the contact. -

Agreed. These refs have given us a lot to criticize but that one was pretty clear IMO. -

Sorry but that was a pretty easy call. Love the intensity from TJD but screaming in a player’s face has been against the rules for years. -

Man it’s frustrating watching the pre-game show and hearing “To win, Indiana just needs 1 guard to play well” -

Love Thompson but someone needs to remind him he’s a 15% three point shooter -

Need to exploit Bohannon off the dribble. His arthritis can’t handle it. -
Definitely. Galloway really unlocks our offense. Guard him close and he’s quick enough off the dribble to get to the rim. Give him slack and he uses off-ball movement to get the defense out of position. He’s probably the best amongst the guards at making the entry pass into the post which is vital for us. And, most importantly, he generally makes the right decision with the ball. I’m not sure I can say that about anyone else on our team.

I really hope he has an Oladipo-like work ethic because he has the potential to be a dominant player. He has elite length and athleticism, plays with a high motor, and was known as a capable shooter coming out of high school. His form is pretty good and I think he’s better in that regard than we’ve seen. If they pair him with the right trainer and he’s willing to put in the hours, he could be special. My concern is that I don’t think he understands his ceiling. I saw an interview where he said something like “God gave me this body to rebound so that’s what I’m going to do.” I appreciate his willingness to play his role, but I hope he realizes he could do a heck of a lot more.

Galloway should be starting over Kopp, and it’s not even close as far as I’m concerned. It was clear before the injury and he just proved it again on Thursday.

Ehh I don’t know about that. I began my career right out of undergrad and currently answer to 4 people in a corporation that employs 20K; but it took 10 years of 60-hour weeks to get there. My cousin has spent those same 10 years as a student at IU and will enter the workforce making more than I do. If I could do it over, I’d probably go that route. -

From what I watched earlier in the season, I have a very hard time believing he’s actually that bad. I think it’s more likely his performance in practice is dictating his PT and I’ve never agreed with that approach. I’ve seen players that look great in practice and fold during the game, and I’ve seen players that are lackluster in practice but go to a different level when it matters. For instance, my best games always occurred in the postseason. My effort wasn’t any different, I just happened to play better under pressure. Now, that may not be the case and maybe Lander really isn’t very good. I’m just saying I’d like for Woodson to give him some minutes and see what happens. -

Agree with Stewart, but I haven’t really seen any reason to play Kopp. I’m still baffled that guy was billed as a shooter. -

That’s why it surprises me he hasn’t given Lander a little more run. If his vision for the offense is what I think it is, he needs a PG that can beat his man off the dribble and then make the right decision. Phinisee is a PG that isn’t quick enough to beat his man and X is a combo guard that doesn’t know how to distribute once he gets in the lane. Of the 3, I think Lander is the only one with the ability to do both. -

I think he’ll probably be back. He’d probably be picked up to play professionally overseas, but it wouldn’t be a big payday. I say he takes the free Masters degree and lives up his final year in college. -

Someone needs to sit him down and have a frank discussion. ”Trayce, you’re currently projected as a mid to late second round pick. Every time you take a game off, you’re one step closer to riding a bus around Croatia for the next 10 years.”
