Huh??? Beard took TTU to an Elite 8 and then the Natty in back to back seasons. He also had UT top 5 in the country in just his second season before being dismissed. He took Little Rock to the tourney and beat Purdue as well….I know you don’t like him and that’s fair, but to say he’s not a good coach is extremely false.

We have real problems if a booster told Rabby that IU and Stevens had an agreement and he made it up or didn’t corroborate that with any other boosters first. Rabby says that happened but he could never confirm and was inaccurate.

FWIW IUFB on Peegs still doesn’t buy the Goodman tweet and isn’t convinced we’re done with Brad just yet. He posted about 30 minutes ago. So much just doesn’t make sense right now.

From what I’ve heard from someone who’s close, the retirement agreement is in preparation ATM. So it’s a matter of when the announcement is made.

If you don’t think Dolson and others close to the situation aren’t aware of this, you are mistaken. There’s a part of me that believes Dolson doesn’t mind throwing him to the wolves and catching the backlash and it makes the firing/retirement that much easier and Dolson can just point to the fact that they can’t risk that happening again, thus relieving Woodrow of his duties.

I think he’d absolutely leave Michigan. He did negotiate a smaller buyout in his contract for this possible move I believe. Louisville wanted to hire him but wouldn’t cater to the lower buyout in fear of leaving way too quick. IU will make Brad Stevens a historical offer and then move to Dusty making him a top 10 highest paid coach in the country. Dolson knows they CANNOT miss this time.

As someone who has been on Peegs and understands Rabby talk and how he handles bad/good news on recruits, I’m feeling really good. Actually, an NIL agent told Cassidy that it was IU for Haralson so he logged his pick. The agent then messaged back and said wait, I have to check on something and then ghosted Cassidy. I’m guessing Haralsons camp was upset it got out and made the agent tell Cassidy to “wait.”

Nikita is more physical but Hatton seems to have a better feel for the game and can shoot. Nikita seems like a project and looks like he just throws the ball at the rim and doesn’t have great instincts within the game. Hattons dad is a big UK fan so it would be comics to see him go to IU.
