  1. Idk if you guys can see it or not... but on the back of their collar on their jersey is an emblem of their home state. So Romeo has one of the state of Indiana on his kind of cool.
  2. Jesus Tre Jones looks just like Tyus
  3. Garland would have had to of gotten a haircut to play here.
  4. I enjoyed that interview as well.
  5. He outscored him by 12. There were multiple times that Bazley couldn't even get open against Romeo. And please remember Princeton had another legit D1 6'4 SR wing on their team as well.
  6. Oh wow.. Bazley was better that day!? Hmmhhh ok. And I was just telling you when it was that he played Scruggs.. I don't really see what the big deal was that I mentioned how old he was. Unless it was an Oreb or a guard penetrating for him he didn't do much at all. Bazely that is. And he fouled out because he couldn't begin to guard Romeo.
  7. Yeah.. I was there. Nearly all of it was scored when Romeo wasn't guarding him. Maybe not "nearly" but plenty of it. Hunter as a 6'3 FR just simply couldn't match up with Nunge.. and then they couldn't guard Hemenway.
  8. Hard to judge his rebounding at this point because he was 2in taller and way more athletic then anybody on their team and they would prefer him getting the D rebound so he doesn't have to get a pass to bring it up. Defensively he's as versatile as anyone. Nunge is 6'11 and he guarded him solid for being 5in shorter. He also guarded Bazely (MDAA) very well in January. Made Scruggs look stupid when he was a SO. He is a good defender.
  9. Bazley, Barnes, Brunk, Brooks, Scruggs, Nunge, Hemenway. He guarded them all and guarded them well.
  10. Him playing off of guys like Juwan and DG would be where he is most effective. They drive a gap, kick it out RL and then he is spotted up and can shoot it or ball fake and go from there. Still amazed some of you are drawing anything from Romeos defense from this s*** show of a basketball game.
  11. I wouldn't disagree with that.
  12. He absolutely is... I've watched him play probably 40-45 times in HS alone.
  13. He's a very good defender and a good rebounder.
  14. The sooner some of you stop associating Romeo Langfords college choice and the way he handles things with Darius Garlands decision the better.
  15. It really doesn't matter. But here https://247sports.com/player/jerome-hunter-83176
  16. Jordan Thomas from NA is an absolute warm up all star. Incredible athlete. Never seen him play in a game.. athletically incredibly impressive though.
  17. In which interview has Romeo seem enthused at all? That is just simply not his personality.
  18. I agree he isn't a coach that could get Romeo to consider UL. If Padgett wasn't mixed up in the UL crap, then someone should scoop him up quick imo. Ball state type of school.
  19. Agree with everything you said here, except for the Mack was "ok" part. So to each their own. I absolutely agree Padgett was really good this year.
  20. You never responded to the post that I quoted you in. I challenge you to find better production over the last 9 years at a similar school to Xavier.
  21. I never said he was the reason. I actually said he was the 7th man on a team that was top 12 in the country as a FR. He would avg 20 mins for us. I like him much more than Durham and I like him more than Green. It takes guys like him to win.
  22. That's certainly how I see it.
  23. UL could have done better? Who had better then a 70% winning percentage during this time that's even remotely comparable to Xavier? If you question the Mack hire then you should have hated the Archie hire. Last year they went to the E8 as an 11 seed by beating a 6 seed, 3 seed, and 2 seed.
