Game Thread: Indiana at Nebraska 9est BTN

Not a really bad loss if we're being honest, if this team knocks off Ohio State they'll be okay. No need to freak.
  2. Seems like something that would happen to Indiana so I didn't count out the possibility

    Louisville Post Conference

That along with a fine, and all wins from 2011-2015 have been vacated
  8. Probably doesn't mean anything but I read on another board from someone "As close to the Garland's as it gets", the Garlands believe Romeo to IU. Same guy said last week that we'll be happy when Romeo announces.
  9. I heard Drewfus offered Romeo unlimited parking in handicap spaces at Vandy if he came
  10. Yup it's kind of been a mess, to the Langfords credit they've handled how they've said they'll handle it so props to them. Let's hope that continues and IU gets one last shot at him, if they really are trailing as you'd heard. All you can ask for at this point. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  11. State title game is on the 24th, for some reason, I thought I read they'd visit after his postseason was over, could've read wrong however. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  12. So IU will probably not be able to meet with Romeo until after his decision is made, assuming he goes deep in the tourney?
  13. I hope to god this isn't true for a few reasons.
  14. Brian Snow is puzzled as to why the last visit is a bad thing so lets chillllll
  15. I was thinking the same thing, I think the reason we feel this way is because I think it would have been mentioned if there were more visits coming.
  16. I think it's crazy to think they're out of it, if IU was, they would not make the visit if they were, realistically. If they were positive it was Vandy, or Kansas, they'd say thanks but no thanks, we know what we want.
  17. Tim Langford said in an interview with Brian Snow, "I told the coaches that after the season or just before Romeo commits that we will make it up there to let them have their chance to sell Romeo on how he fits into their program". I will summarize the rest, The family felt as if Drew made good adjustments that helped ultimately was the reason they won, the visit was good, they enjoyed the atmosphere, better than it appears on TV. Self's visit was good, he showed Romeo how he'd fit with players coming in, basically his last pitch to him. Also pitched being on a national stage to Romeo. Talked about Romeo's visit to IU during the Northwestern game, he said Romeo saw how CAM gets the most out of his players, and Tim sees that when he watches them on TV.
  18. Reminder, you have to be .500 to be invited to the NIT
  19. How in the world have we overlooked the most telltale sign that Romeo is going to IU? On senior night, Tim Langford's jacket? RED! HOOSIER NATION HE'S COMIN!
  20. I know this has been put out there, but it's been pretty widely reported the basketball staff at New Albany firmly believes it's IU that is in the drivers seat, maybe that's not true now, but that's how they had felt.
  21. No, national guys have been saying they don't know.
  22. If we are looking for positives for IU today, Tim Langford has made it clear that they find a lot of importance in whatever teams ability to develop Romeo, and their plans to do so. While Vandy has likely pitched their ideas on how they'll do so, they have not proven they can do so, however, Kansas obviously knows what they're doing in that sense, and all though Archie has not put any players in the league, assistant Ed Schilling has. He's coached players like Mike Conley, Greg Oden, TJ Leaf, Lonzo Ball and Yogi Ferrell. Tim Langford and his family is well aware of how good Schilling is at what he does. Do not discount the fact that Clif Marshall is on staff as well, and has been a trainer for NFL players in the past, along wit other basketball players. Both outstanding in the sense of Romeo to IU.
  23. I have also heard that the "insider" is Darius Garland's trainer, Jamal Richardson.
