Chamique Holdsclaw showed up tonight -- wearing an IU sweatshirt. Not sure what her connection to CTM is, but still ... pretty cool. Also not sure if the players knew exactly who she is. LOL. -
Nice finish. Shay was dominant early on, then sorta disappeared, then showed up at the end. Nice contribution from Maya as well. She's not playing like a freshman any longer.

We hold on and even create a little distance there at the end. 79-69. Played like crap, but showed some moxie there at the end.

Beau misses a wide-open 3 that would've gone a long way toward finishing this one off.

Noyan with some nice fight to collect a rebound. Gets fouled on the putback try. Makes 2 FTs to put us up by 9.

Shay with the step-through and hey, whaddya know -- we're back on top. 66-65 with 4:32 to go. This has been some brutal basketball. Let's finish strong.

Kiaku just went coast-to-coast for a layup and got fouled. Pretty much blew past all 9 other players. Made the FT for an old-fashioned three-point play. Feel like we should've gotten more out of her this year. There can't be many B1G players with more speed than her.

Same girl who was going crazy a few seconds ago just plowed right over Caffey on a drive. Of course, the foul was on Caffey.

Rutgers player mauls Shay and gets a foul. She jumps up and down, stomps her feet and flails her arms. C'mon -- you gotta T her up for that.
