Don't know if anybody pointed this out -- guessing someone did -- but our hoops team scored 51 points against Illinois. Our football team scored 63 points against Illinois. WE ARE A FOOTBALL SCHOOL! -
Men lose by 20, women by 44 (and honestly, that could've been 60). Doubtful there's ever been a worse day on the court in the history of IU hoops.

Got it down to 44 by the final whistle. We have a week off to regroup, get some rest and hopefully, get Shay healthy. Then we close out with Oregon at home, Ruger on the road and Penn State at home. Ducks will be a tough out, but all three games are winnable.

Down by 42 after 30 minutes. Rebounds: UCLA 41, IU 17 With the fellas' 20-point loss, this might be the single worst on-court day in the history of IU hoops. Shay hasn't returned. No reason for her to at this point.

Every bit as ugly as I expected. Have no path inside, so for the final stretch of that 2nd quarter all we did was stand outside and bomb 3s. Didn't hit 'em, though. Well -- Maya had one.

Noyan another foul. That's 3. This team is so careless in that aspect. We're over three minutes in to the second quarter and haven't scored. 26-10 Bruins. Shay actually looked like she was moving pretty well early on, but then she got knocked down, hobbled off and hasn't been back.

Not sure how much longer I can follow along. For one, we're gonna get killed. For two, this announcer is driving me batsh-t crazy. Very weird energy. "Grab a snack, and come on back."

Just switched game on and it said we were up 2-0. Two seconds later, it said: UCLA 2, IU 0 Gonna be even tougher if they're taking points away from us!

Welp. We're 17-9. On the verge of another season with double-digit losses -- our 10th in a row and 12th of 13. Wasn't really expecting anything different this season. Still -- it sucks. Can be tough on the hardcourt when you're at a football school!
