  1. I see Daryl Thomas’s son Kyle had a big game for Team Illinois. Committed to Eastern Illinois Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  2. Here’s a thought, what if the staff can convince Leal to take a redshirt year as a walk on? Maybe throw some NIL money to cover some of the costs? His parents work for the school, so you’d think there would be some sort of tuition discount there. He’d get six years of school, 5 on scholarship with the Covid year. Not a bad deal, right? 3. Does anyone know who the front runner is for Mr Basketball? Gunn’s recent play has to have him near the top. Who else is in the running? Loyer? Davis? Walker? Suder? Thanks in advance Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  4. 15? Did they expand the scholarship limit to 15 for next year? If so, I missed that. 13 should still be the limit. Which means we need 3 to leave next year to be able to bring in our 3 recruits. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  5. Xavier Johnson is awful. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  6. Xavier Booker still a big option for ‘23? Haven’t heard much recently Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  7. No excuse to not play Geronimo more. He earned his minutes and Archie screwed him Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  8. It was about Jelan Kendrick I believe. Ended up going to Memphis and Ole Miss and did nothing. Same class as Kyrie Irving Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  9. Brian Snow article says he chose Purdue over Marquette. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  10. The problem with “The Movement” class was Crean offered way too many in-state prospects way too early in a deep class. If he showed patience and withheld offers until later in the process, we could have ended up with Gary Harris, D’Vauntes Smith-Rivera, Mitch McGary or even Glen Robinson III added to Yogi. 11. I wonder what positions the staff is planning on targeting in 2020. Both Galloway and Leal are playing well in front of the scouting services, but appear to be similar players. Any experts think the coaching staff would be willing to take both?
  12. Ryan Welage is transferring from San Jose State. Junior averaged 18 ppg, shot 42% from 3. 6’9” 205 forward. From Greensburg, IN. Should be eligible immediately
