This post and the post he was responding to are the posts I love and why I started to follow and then post on BTB. Both sides presented their arguments without getting personal. If only all posts were like this. BTW, I agree with Pagoda when he said if IU took a deep dive into the incident and were comfortable with hiring beard, I would support him. Go Hoosiers!

As I have said before, I will believe he is our coach when the contract is signed. Until then, I ask you not to become so overly invested that it will actually happen and is true, then doesn't happen, you start attacking posters. To me that shows me more about the attacker that the OP.

All this back and forth about BS and whether people should be believed or not or whether anything is factual people post is exactly why I continually post, ill believe a coach is hired will happen when the contract is signed. IMO, getting one's hopes up based on posts on a forum and then getting all bent out of shape, tells me more about that person , than those posting their opinions or what they hearing. I haven't read every post. It's hard to keep up. But out of curiosity, is Oats a viable candidate? I believe he would be good hear. He isn't my number 1 by no means. I hope Stevens comes, but I will believe it when I see it. I like Dusty, but will he be willing to leave Michigan after 1 year. I'm not so sure. I might like to see Beard only if they do very deep dive and see if the incident was a 1 time incident or a pattern. I know some only want the white whate. I understand that. We shall see.
