  1. But you're complaining about the ones who are complaining? You need to do something. Make the change, make the people better.
  2. Aren't you going to run for a position for which you don't qualify? Like the rest of us?
  3. But our new coach talk is getting peed on....
  4. Save the program, Steuby! You've told us what to do, but we are merely peasants and cannot grasp your wisdom. Please, tell us: What are YOU going to do?!
  5. Honestly Horns, it might be healthy for you if all the talk died down for a bit. I fear for your well-being.
  6. All I'm asking is we not condone fans being idiots to other people in public. That same guy probably sucks at the job he has (or probably doesn't have). It's low class, unintelligent, and just being a poor quality human being in general. The emphasis of my point was not his wife at all, but it drives home just how disrespectful people are over a game. If people can't understand the immaturity of the situation then I don't know what to tell any of them other than grow up.
  7. Sure, within the context of the game is (somewhat) reasonable as long as one can act like a grown adult.
  8. Looking at the situation on a basic human level (which Mike Woodson is one, mind you) you have a to be a pretty big prick to walk up to someone in public and tell them they stink at their job when he's sitting right next to his wife. Would you go up to an obese person at Olive Garden at tell them it's time to put down the fork? It doesn't matter what his job is, how he's compensated, or honestly what any one of us thinks of his job performance. You don't do that. I'm as big a fan as anyone, but let's admit it: fans as a collective are overzealous know-it-alls. The only person whose criticism officially matters is one Scott Dolson, so leave it to him.
  9. Optics, for one. The program has to continue the commitment to recruiting the recruits. It's already a bad look to be visibly out-recruited. It's even worse to continue the look over time. Secondly, no matter who might take over next season you can't leave the program with an entirely dried up recruiting trail.
  10. Correct. He was on the coaching staff for a few years around the time I was at BRV.
  11. Not him. I know a Josh Hallatt, also very tall and red headed as Chris mentioned. He's alive and well.
  12. So...with the weekend game being on Sunday as opposed to Saturday do we see ANYONE from the staff sporting the Trident at Sectional play tonight? (In particular a school in Hancock County)
  13. Forgive me if it's already been mentioned, but what is BP's current buyout? I read 17M as of April 1 2023 but didn't know if there were any additional details on that.
  14. True. But as his lack of effort continues to permeate this program I would hope at least a few of the administrative powers are in the "no amount of money" territory. No-showing on the recruiting trail, especially given the current state of things, is egregious.
  15. I hope you've never made bad choices.
  16. You would know more than anyone so I assume that means he is already looking. As long as he's being allowed to do so that's a semi decent sign of life from the people with weight bearing opinion on the matter I suppose.
  17. True, which can be encouraging in its own right. But this is a different circumstance because of the presumed Quinn-IU guy-good 'ol boy narrative. IU has never ever taken football seriously and Dolson could do that part of his job without much resistance, if any. IU basketball is a bigger and more political beast.
  18. The fact we all agree (from what I can keep up with on here) Mike Woodson's job is more out of the AD's hands than in them says all we need to know about the problem in Bloomington for the last 2.5 decades. I would guess Scott Dolson went to bed and woke up with a sentiment matching our own, worrying his handlers will attempt to use last night's win and any thereafter to handcuff him from doing what's needed.
  19. If a home win over a bad opponent who has now lost 6 of 8 fools this program into keeping Woodson another year then we're in poor shape no matter who is coaching.
  20. Zach Edey not using his Covid year
  21. High school boys tournament starts this week. (Go Raiders)
  22. That's my point. He did what he was told. I see over and over again on the board about how arrogant he is and never takes responsibility for these outcomes. If that holds true and he truly feels he holds all the cards, he's going to continue saying what he really wants to say to the media. Today, he possibly said what someone else wanted (or instructed) him to say. It's that, or he was truly showing some humility. Either way that feels like the behavior shift of someone who's tushy is beginning to feel really, really warm and he needs to do something to cool it down.
  23. I feel that belief is beginning to waver for him. He changed his tune in the post-game today and finally shouldered his own blame. He's either beginning to accept the reality of his situation or he's being a good soldier and following orders to change that tune. That tells me he knows he's not untouchable.
  24. Same with Sean East, who is having a nice year for Mizzou, and dropped 33 today.
