  1. A foul on IU when four guys there to rebound to Penn State's 1. Lol this team
  2. Why doesn't Thomas do that more often?
  3. Yeah a conference game. That should speak volumes right there. We don't care enough to show up for the first game in the back 9 of conference season. That should say a lot
  4. Now we really do need the flash card saying "Crean sucks". We get that with a sparse crowd, that speaks volumes
  5. We can only hope it is like this the remaining home games. Then Glass will realize his mistake when he's losing money
  6. "Bad for Brad". Lol I love it
  7. Not against top 300 teams anyway. Against cupcakes under 300 IU is beast
  8. I don't think he's a great coach but 3 elite eights is still three more than IU will ever see with Crean
  9. Frankly, I think Penn State is gonna win tonight. I think IU has checked out
  10. I feel ya man. Losses increase the chance of Crean's well overdue departure
  11. At least we don't have the CBI to ever worry about
  12. They're not making the NIT
  13. It definitely would be tough to overcome but this team did just flat out suck before those injuries to OG and JBJ. And that's where the injury excuse comes into the equation. Crean knows they sucked before those injuries but he uses it as an out to excuse the poor play we're seeing right now. There's still no reason they can't run a somewhat decent offense and play even a lick of defense. That's where fundamentals comes into play as well. Simple basics will win basketball games. But obviously that doesn't seem to be the thinking of the team
  14. Yeah I'm getting tired of the injury excuse. That excuse isn't ever really that valid to begin with if you ask me. You could lose your best player but still play with intensity, passion and dedication. And there's also that thing called fundamentals. If a team has no talent or less talent than the opposition, simple fundamentals will win basketball games. Crean's teams have never mastered simple fundamentals and couple that with the injury excuse, his teams just aren't good at all
  15. I think it would grant us our wish. But I think he's gone regardless. I just can't see how Glass can ignore all this negative noise. If he keeps Crean, then Glass needs to go as well
  16. Both Crean and Gillespie were not top program material. The difference is UK cut bait and IU didn't. That's why the respective programs are where they are right now. But all it takes is one great hire and IU will be great once again
  17. I mentioned Gillespie earlier when talking about cutting bait. That was the absolute right thing to do. UK was going nowhere with him and the administration knew it. Hindsight is 20/20 but I wish IU would've done that after year 3 with Crean and gotten Brad Stevens
  18. Gillespie was fired after two years because UK knew he wasn't top program material. Then they went and got Calipari and we know the rest
  19. Yes and that's why I mentioned those four programs (minus Louisville) are blue bloods that are good year in and year out because of coaching stability. If IU hires the right coach, they will be great once again
  20. IU isn't elite by any means. This is very true and has been for a while. But IU is absolutely still relevant. People still keep tabs on IU
  21. I would still classify them as well
  22. I'm starting from the 21st century, so 2000. The last seven years of RMK weren't great but IU was still a highly thought of program. A blue blood is who makes the sport better. IU still makes the sport better when they're good. It's the same with Duke, UNC, Kansas and UK. Those are the five blue blood programs. A great coach can change a lot of things. IU gets Stevens, Donovan, Archie Miller, Chris Holtman, etc., IU will be good year in and year out once again. Preferably with Stevens because he is the best coach on IUs list and would instantly change the vibe and culture around Bloomington and the program in general. But to your first point, I would say IU hasn't been great for 17 years
  23. IU is absolutely still a blue blood program but hasn't had the right coach to have continued success and stability since RMK. Duke, UNC, Kansas and UK are the programs that are good year in and year out and that's because they've had stability with the HC. Roy Williams, Bill Self, Coach K and John Calipari. UK actually went trough a stretch there for a while with Tubby and Billy that set them back for some years. Their administration knew those two weren't good enough and cut bait. But it was definitely more with Billy then Tubby. Sampson would have been but we all know why he wasn't. The next hire has to be a hit. Otherwise, IU will become just another program
  24. Yogi kicking some can and Cleveland is gonna lose. That's just a win-win. Screw you LeBron
