I have a confession to make. I have never been to an IU game at Assembly Hall. I have never wanted to spend the money to go watch Crean's crappy brand of basketball.
-
I'm going with door number 2. Glass doesn't have the sack to fire his BFF.
-
I'm not going to lie I watched the documentary perfect in 76 yesterday and it kind of made me sad. I was saddened by it because in my lifetime IU has had 4 coaches and I was to young to remember the endof Bob Knight at IU. But the truthis thhe film showed me how great IU basketball was and I have never seen IU as being that great of a program in my lifetime. All IU has been in my lifetime is either bad or inconsistent. I would love for IU to hire a new coach and return IU to its former Glory but the truth is I'm not sure if that will ever happen because once you start the downhill slide it's hard to right the ship. Crean was on the verge of righting the ship until he hit an iceberg this year. All I want is to see IU returned to its Blue Blood status because it isn't what it used to be and it is ashame.
-
No trolls allowed. Crean needs to go and there are about 10-15 coaches I would rather have at this point.
-
I agree it is a good sign that Glass wouldn't talk to the media tonight but I'm still not sol just yet. Come on Fred prove me wrong.
-
Can Glass be like Saban and just leave Crean there in Atlanta. I mean Saban left Kiffin behind a time or two. Only Glass should make this one permanent.
-
I'm guessing if Crean stays then this is what happens. Gone: OG, Blackman, Johnson and maybe some more. I think the only player's that truly believe in Crean are Bryant, Davis, Priller, and maybe Morgan. So others could leave as well.

Tomorrow Afternoon Announcement: Glass: Tom Crean will remain the coach of iubb. Tomorrow Night Press Conference: McRobbie: The board of trustees featuring Quinn Buckner and myself have decided to move on from Fred Glass and his BFF Tom Crean at this time. We can only hope at this point in time because Crean is coming back for another season in Btown as of right now.

The vote of confidence is coming. Any hour now.

This season is OVER!!!!!!
-
Yeah there is a flight that is leaving Indianapolis for Atlanta at 12:50 so I'm guessing that is the flight that Fred will be on.
-
Yeah Justin Albers is good at twisting around other people's info.

When it comes to the soft landing crap all I have to is if Bobby Knight can be fired anybody can be fired.
-
I 100% agree on Dakich and JMV I guess said he thinks Crean will be back. I'm not sure on the JMV front because I didn't personally hear it.
-
You can't tell me that Dakich doesn't know anything. But he also isn't going to share either because he continues to say he thinks Crean should be the coach at IU.
-
Does JMV have sources for IU stuff? I know he does for the Colts but IU I'm not sure. I also believe Dakich knows what is going not that he'll say anything on the topic because he likes supporting Crean on the radio because it keeps people calling arguing which keeps his ratings up.

IU plays Georgia Tech on Tuesday.
-
No but he did move on from Grigson as GM. That's what I was refering to. After that happened he gave Pagano a vote of confidence.
-
Then why did OSU and others announce that they were keeping their coaches. It's just what happens when people in administration respond because other people start to speculate there could be a change. You kind of sound like the Indy media did when people were speculating what Jim Irsay was going to do with the Colts. He said nothing until he made a change.
-
How does a Tuesday loss in the NIT sound for everyone???
-
Breaking News!!! Fred Glass has announced absolutely nothing and every IU fan is freaking out just like Colts fans when Irsay wasn't saying anything. Hopefully Fred thinks the same way that Irsay did and makes a change. Or Fred could be thinking that IU gets a good NIT seed he and Tommy can celebrate with a lifetime extension. Yeah the extension is probably the most likely option of the two.

Hey guys do you hear that? It's the sound of Indiana's status as a blueblood program being flushed right down the toilet. All thanks to our wonderful AD and coach. Go IUBB.
