  1. Crean's coming back boys!!! All because Fred Glass is as lame as Crean at doing his job. So for the people that say IU isn't an elite program they will probably be proven right within another year or two thanks to Glass.
  2. Nope they're both still there.
  3. I feel like if Alford is hired there are other people besides Glass that were involved in hiring him.
  4. My brain agrees with you but my gut says he's finally going to win it.
  5. I feel like Crean is going to do the most Tom Crean thing ever and find a way to win the BTT and save his job. I hate to say it but my gut tells me this is the year he does it. I really hope I am wrong.
  6. Jonny Marlin. That kid could play and won a championship at IWU.
  7. I know this has been posted about a month ago but it seems like it could be all to realistic for me to want Marshall. It sounds crazy but I don't like it. http://www.crimsonquarry.com/2017/2/20/14651700/dispatches-from-the-future-its-time-for-indiana-to-move-on-from-gregg-marshall
  8. That Missouri message board might be one of the hardest things to read I have ever seen. The formatting is awful. But if it means Crean is gone I guess I'll read what they have to say.
  9. Some more of the conversation. Guy says he has broken news before not sure but seems somewhat legit.
  10. That is false all four are signed with Butler. 247 shows commit but it is wrong. You can find pictures of all 4 signing their NLI's on twitter.
  11. Looks a little like Tony Bennett to me. But I can also see an Alford comparison.
  12. So why is he the only one that is believable that is willing to share this information?
  13. Oh okay that makes sense.
  14. With that I am going to leave the flight tracking to Mile over on 247. lol
  15. I thought I would do a little detective work of my own. Tom Crean is represented by CAA Sports which has an office in Chicago. There was a flight into Bloomington yesterday and another scheduled for today as well. Both flights were twin jets that came from Midway International Airport. That airport is 29 minutes from their office. O'Hare is 25 minutes so not a huge difference in distance so that isn't a debunker. So I think that this could be a sign that Creans representation has been in and out of Bloomington because they are working a potential deal for Crean potentially to Missouri.
  16. Why is it that people think the only guys that are an improvement have the last names Stevens, Donovan, Miller, Bennett, or Marshall. Come on people I'd be happy with anyone as long as they can play defense and not run the weave and heave. It would also be nice if they didn't talk about deflections all the time as well ;)
  17. Yes and that is why I could see why they would want him to commit now or else move on to other targets.
  18. As good of a coach as he is Billy D has a bad history of being like this. I'm guessing IU wanted him to commit now but he wanted to wait till his NBA season is over but IU didn't want to wait for him to change his mind and then miss out on other high profile coaching targets if he did back out.
  19. It makes since that Sean Miller would have interest. IU is a blue blood school. Miller has ties to the Midwest. He played at Pitt and is from Pennsylvania. Plus his brother Archie is the coach at Dayton as we all know. Plus his connections to USA basketball could also help boost recruiting to an even higher level since most of the guys that play for USA basketball are high 4 star or 5 star guys.
  20. The fact that 0708 is saying that he feels that Sean Miller is next on the list would in fact go along with what the Janitor said that the next coach was from out west.
  21. The Janitor said that he is positive that Crean is gone now more than ever on twitter. When asked why Crean sounded so positive tonight he said that Crean never gives up and he is like the energizer bunny. He also said that Crean is coaching practices like they are a top ten team he is so positive.
  22. I also know a player on Butler's team and have not heard this. I will say it would seem odd if he is only there for the short term sense he seems to be recruiting at a high level. I mean he has the best class in school history coming in. He also went to visit one of those commits in Vermont last week. It also wouldn't surprise me if Butler gave him a pay raise if he was considering a move. I'm sure they have more revenue since they are in the Big East and they are paying him 1.5 million I believe. That is only .5 million more than what they paid Brad Stevens when they were in the Horizon League. Not saying I am right but that just doesn't add up to me. So since I have said this he will probably be gone next week ;)
