I also agree with a post from earlier that recruiting athletic guys is cool but what we r seeing is athletic guys with zero basketball IQ. I'd rather have IQ.

Although I want a coaching change and Crean and staff may not know defense, I truly believe some of this is on the players. I mean think about it. These kids have been playing bball for quite some time now. I hope somewhere along the line they have been taught at least the basics of defense. I personally see lack of ability on coaching staff but I also see lack of desire to get it done from the players too. It truly is a collective issue. Crean obviously is having zero luck inspiring these guys to truly want it. If not for Indiana, better do it for yourself because the guys who are trying to go next level look like ass. My opinion.

I literally cannot remember a time (obviously other than Sampson) where I've thought to myself in this kinda dumbfounded way, "what the hell is going on?!" I mean laughing at our games, expecting to lose etc. And to think we have no player savior coming in next yr on top of it if Crean stays. I'm sitting here like, WOW!

Does anyone think Crean may be ready for a change of scenery as much as we want it for him ourselves?

It just seems Crean can do no wrong. It's obvious Fred doesn't care what fans think. Maybe fans should just say eff u Tom and Fred and don't go to games. Idk. My gut just tells me Crean is secure for a long time to come. Otherwise we'd have made a change.

This just sucks. No way Crean leaves with this many key injuries. I know we are all hoping it won't matter but let's just be real for a sec. If Glass wants him to stay, this is a perfect situation for him to keep him. He now will not hafta come up with some lame excuse now. This poor program can't catch a break.

Does anyone truly know how much pressure Glass is getting to make a change? I mean other than these threads. Local pressure etc?

With our conference road schedule coming up, no way we make tourney. I just don't think Glass can justify bringing him back.
