As a student who purchased tickets this year I feel like it's the frustration with the Athletic department poorly assigning seats. I have many friends who were assigned General admission but were put up in the balcony because there wasn't enough room in the typical general admission section from last year. Many students including myself are very disappointed with how seats are distrubuted. They're selling out by giving alumni the courtside and many behind the basket seats. I'm no expert but I've always felt a team plays better with a stronger and louder student section. Just take a look at Duke and MSU two top programs with a student section surrounding the court.
