    Would think "timing" would have to be one of the items negotiated...when can he start? Its going to be a long time if Hoosier Nation has to wait until the end of OKC's season.

    On the timing - after last night's win and with week left of regular season - I'm just speculating, but I'm wondering if the meeting was today to give Crean notice and give him time to line something else up. The timing would make sense in terms of the positive relationship Glass and Crean have for each other. Glass is giving Crean a fair notice, and letting him pursue another job so after the season....let's say the week of March 12....some new school will announce Crean as their coach (vs. IU announcing they are not bringing Crean back). Totally thinking out loud here on the possibility. I saw someone mention the "Hickory Husker" post....what does that refer to?

    Long time listener, first time caller....I think I'll be leaving this thread open on my Chromebook. The plot thickens....but I want to get to the end of the story! Going to be a long couple of weeks!
