Aren't they also a team that stumbles down the stretch?   I seem to recall some of Fran's teams have started off well in conference only to finish middle of the pack when all is said and done.   I am happy to see they have beaten PU twice and hope we take something away from their victories on how to beat the Boils.

  True. It just surprises me that UCLA has fired their last 2 coaches - Lavin for going to 6 straight Sweet 16's and then Howland - as you said, a lot of disappointment after 3 straight FF's. They did, however, have to settle for Alford and his enormous ego.   We have 1 Conference Championship and back-to-back Sweet 16's going into year 8, or year 5 if you refuse to count the first 3.    Our administration just doesn't get it and I doubt they (UCLA admin) would be bringing CTC back for this year if he had done at UCLA what he is doing here.

  They had too many last year. The platoon system hurt their season and their recruiting, don't you remember the excuses????

Just curious as to how is it NOT an NCAA violation for players to negotiate with this team during recruiting?   It seems shady, but if it hurts UK, I am all for it!!!!!
