I did apologize and I will again. It was a poor choice of wording and yeah, I said it and I meant, but I could have used better wording. I am a Christian woman, but I do fall short at times but that's between my God and I so in saying that, it is my duty as a Christian to apologize and I do mean it from my heart. I talked to my Pastor and in making amends for my wrong doing It is my duty to apologize to you ALL and I truly and honestly mean that from my heart and in my soul. Two wrongs don't make a right. Everyone has an opinion and I must take it, but leave it here also. Even though I don't like a lot of things that were said about a child I carried for 9 months, you must feel my hurt and pain. It is what is and we both, my son for doing what he did and for me, taking things to another level. So please, except my apology.

I did apologize for this but you didn't see that, huh? I was wrong and I was angry and the two don't go together! I'm a mom first and foremost so as a parent we first want to defend our kids. I admit what Troy did was totally wrong and he has consequences to pay. Not only to IU fans, alumni, teammates and coaching staff, but mainly to his family that loves him and wants nothing but the best for him. I don't condone drugs at ALL and I will say that loud and clear. But it is what it is and it's over. He will play in the SMU game and I told him he better come in playing with fire under his feet. So in saying this, I'm done with all this media and people and their wishy washy ways. I love my son unconditionally but I can see this is not the place for a parent that has real passion and love for their child. Yall be easy now and prayers are going up for my son and for you all. And again, I apologize for my choice of words!

I am also disappointed in his poor and bad decision making. All I can do from Virginia, is pray and pray harder that he has learned his lesson and move on to bigger and better things. His life is what he makes it and the opportunities are available to the person that thinks first, then reacts. Just my opinion!!❤️

To be honest they got 3 games because as I was told by the administration both exhibition games count as 1 game like 1/2 of game for both and the 2 regular season games. Then Troy can play in the SMU game. I don't know about Stan's situation. And from then on he plays. But as a mom, all I can do is pray and pray that Troy has learned his lesson and know that his life is PUBLIC RECORD for anyone to read and see but it shouldn't make a difference because you should be on your game anyway and do not make immature decisions and choices. His future is in his hands not mine, yours or Indiana's. Think Think and Think some more before you do or say anything.

The other day I just blew off some steam because I was upset at the the talk went from praising to literally throwing them off the team and another factor was I was very angry at my son for putting hisself in a position for their words to be said in the first. But I did apologize straight from my heart and u wasn't any better acting then anyone else was. But thank you for words I do take seriously. Your words, that is!! Lol

Yes they will. I know that Troy will play in the SMU game because the coach personally told. They are counting both exhibition games as 1 game and then the first 2 games. Then he will be playing in the SMU game. I am disappointed in my son. But what can I do besides get on him and stay on him! He wasn't raised like this and I KNOW he knows better. He is sorry for what he did, but sorry isn't enough in my eyes. He has to go prove not only to his family, but to the fans and the kids that look up to him that this WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN! I believe in Troy and I hope you all do also. Give him a chance to make up for what he did, and move on. We can't keep talking about the same thing over and over. That's like beating a child or putting them in "time-out" for the same action. Learn from it, grow from it and make be in on to a bigger and better life for the team, the fans and mainly yourselves. Basketball doesn't start or stop here. Now I hold him to have better standards and better morals Think FIRST, then react. With decisions cones consequences good and bad. I will continue to pray for my son and for the team. I'm will always support IU. And since this had to happen, I am glad it happened when he is "19" and not "30!" Come on people, we need to grow from this also and realize They are still kids and that they will make dumb and immature decisions but putting them down, putting down Coach Crean will not make things better for anyone. We have to chalk it up as a learning lessons, because honestly no one but a few knows the real deal behind why this so-called 2nd chance happened or how it happened but those few. In my opinion and it's juste opinion, it should have BEEN came out instead of right behind another incident. That makes no since to me and I understand it's a hard pill to swallow. But what they need now most of all is their true fans and family to lift them up but at the same time let them know that THESE THINGS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE and when you do come back, you better go harder then ever and step up as adults. Age is just a number and some of these guys or is the first time away from home it's a lot on their plate trying to step up to values and standards that we think they should have. Like I said before, even I, at "48" years old took it to another level and let's words regulate my thoughts instead of not responding at all. I thank Yogi for stepping out and speaking as a team leader and as a friend to his teammates. All I ask from everyone is that we give them all a chance "THIS TIME" and let them prove that they are better then what we have seen and heard so far. It's just time for everyone, us included, to move on and grow up from this awful situation. I know I will, but can you? Everyone has their opinion and now I have learned to except what is and what was. I just hope that who I cursed at and called names can forgive me as a woman, a mother and a fan.
