Saw him in AAU an event in Bloomington with my brother and he was dominated by a 6'3" guy from Bloomington North I believe. My brother who did some high-school coaching, That kid can't play a lick. LOL

Yes,All I'm saying is if it comes down to McCollum or a guy like him I'm fine with it. Not trying to argue Stu,but we have a very high opinion of our program and I'm not sure that translates on a national level. Personally I hope it's May, Drew or even Cronin for that matter.Being an old man myself I don't want anyone in there mid sixties and I'm not sold on Stevens being realistic. Peace?

OK, you're right and I'm so absolutely wrong. I guess the only option is to lure highly successful, extremely well payed old men away from established Power 5 programs I know we can because we're Indiana, but if they all say no then what,shut the program down? No bright young minds allowed.

She also won a title at New Albany with a good friend of mines daughter as a star. Great coach.

I think a good coach can win anywhere especially with NIL and there's plenty of examples, Kelsey, May and maybe Pope being examples. I'm pretty sure you know the Hinton remark was to point out coaching isn't defined at what level you're at at the time and if a large class school in the state was looking for a coach they should look at her. Exactly, Knight was at Army May was at FIU McCollum has won everywhere he's been. My Hometown has won the girls small school state title back to back with a coach named Hinton. They were absolutely horrible before with the previous coach. You old guys probably recognize that name from years ago but it's his daughter who's the coach. She could win in any class. I guess the point I'm trying to make is good coaching isn't just happening in power conferences and being gun shy because of the Miller debacle shouldn't stop us from looking at up and comers.I would be thrilled with McCollum. The dude wins. Google him.
