You mentioned where the program sat a year ago from today. I don't know about you, but I thought we were A+ a year ago today because we were tracking planes and taking meetings with Brad Stevens. ;)

Excited for him to be back in action. Wonder if Ostrom follows him? I expect Comar to follow as he was just let go at Ball State.

Yeah I'm not too much of a fan of the tired excuse. We knew the travel would be hard if we beat Wyoming. They didn't have a hard practice Wednesday, they got rest and were fed well. Was it a factor? Sure. But we still got 30 pieced, which is unacceptable.

That's a general amount of Indiana Basketball fans. most are casual followers which is totally fine. Just speaking the truth!

Ehh we lost by 30 to a program many people can't point to on a map.

Johnson was pretty unreliable at the start of the season. Honestly saw a glimpse of it last night, but he was just trying to get us back into the game so I won't fault him. He deserves credit, we don't have a shot at the dance without his play the past month. He improved and I would love to see him back as our starting PG next season. He needs shooters though.

Im not sure he would be a huge loss. He’s a ball dominate player without PG ability. The ball tended to stick with him too much but to be fair, he didn’t get much run this year. I’ll keep an eye on the portal starting Monday. Don’t expect anything this weekend.

I’m not the type of person to brag or whatnot or act like I know everything, because I know maybe less than 20 things total. But transfer players are usually not going to be all that great. We can hope and pray to land kids in the portal but there’s no Victor Oladipo or Cody Zeller In there.

Overall: C+ Staff: C Players: C+ ———- I had us at 20 regular season wins, we ended with 19. A lot of close losses that could’ve led us to a greater seed in the dance, but overall we did deserve our 12 seed. Next year could get ugly if we don’t improve in the portal, which is a long shot of course. Woodson: His rotations are gross at times, the offense is quite bad at times, but the defense looked stout. He has potential but he’s going to have to make some major changes offensively if he wants to win. I'm wondering if we lose any assistants this year now that they got a year of experience under Woody. Players: The Players I’d like to see back include Johnson, Jordan, Trey, and Leal. Everyone else.. eh. - Thank you TJD for your service this year, incredible season. Best of luck in the draft this summer! - Race was tremendous this season. His play down the stretch was rough, not sure where that came from. But he was the perfect role player. I hope he moves onto a program that can compete for a national championship next season! Happy off-season boys and girls , it’s going to be a long one.
