you know what's sad?  watching that video you can't help but think "wow, he carried himself about as calmly, gentlemanly, and mature as possible"....and he's the one leaving the program.

I agree with this.  Remember Crean's press conference? "It's Indiana."  We all thought he understood it, but years later he doesn't have his house in order? With a guy like Alford you already know he understands it.  I think the fan base would allow him the same early leeway (depending on what he would inherit) based on that fact alone.  Plus, I think a younger ex-player coach would require less money (maybe more obvious) and possibly shorter contract.  Also, a guy like Alford would understand what is expected.   One interesting thing that I haven't heard brought up re: ex players, is whether we'll ever see a ex players turned NBA front office make the jump to AD.  This could happen a lot now and I just don't know.

It was definitely since Crean has been here...if you're sure it wasn't Scouts then I can't remember what board it was.  

We used to call Mike Davis Mr. Ed for the face he made when he would scream at the refs.  Always used to imagine he sounded like him, too.

  I didn't say he did it well, but if I remember correctly someone did this exact same thing on the scouts message board a few years back.  And I speculate its the same person doing it again now.  That's all.  

Not trying to be ominous, I just think saying a name would just contribute to the babysitters club drama going on here.  I mean, the dude predicted Noah was leaving and some transfers? Who's to say it wasn't an educated guess that just happened to be correct?

I'm 94% sure I've figured out who this is (or at least who whoever it is is trying to appear to be).  now did you said you knew this stuff firsthand or had a source, i forget
