Why is IU trying to play man to man sticky D? They get beat almost every time 1 on 1. Sag a little and make them shoot 3s.

Small teams and full court pressure teams scare me with IU. We don’t have any fast, tough, tested ball handlers. Our guards are either tall, or inexperienced or both. Do I think IU has the better basketball players? Yes…ofc. We usually do in most games we play. Do I think IU will fail at either breaking the press or defending the 3? Yes… Will Miami hit 3s at a good enough clip? That’s the game.

Observations: Kent State doesn't look like a good shooting team. Ugly shots. Also, IU looks like a terrible rebounding team. Every defensive rebound comes with vast relief as if we got lucky. lol.

Sincere Carry carries the ball about 17 times per possession.

Would be nice to meet Iowa again and see if their hero ball can win them another game. I loathe Iowa.

It’s honestly amazing any of us have any expectations for this program after the last 25 years. But we still do. It’s amazing, really.

The NCAA tourney is all about guards and chucking 3s. IU is not going to fare well. Does anyone actually think IU will do well when they can’t even compete with Penn St? lol. im done, b1tching about this team tonight….sorry. lol.

Ultimately, you can’t really shut down a team that shoots a lot of 3s. They just have to miss. You can however shut down a team like IU that plays in the paint. Especially a team like IU that also refuses to shoot 3s. IU makes it easy for teams to defend them.

Maybe it’s time for IU to hire a coach that understands that you can’t win without chucking up 3s these days. Archie and now Woodson play an unsuccessful type of basketball. To win in todays game you have to shoot 25 3s a game.

Penn State doesn’t even have a serviceable post player and they are a better basketball team.
