Yup. This is my stance. I love the kids, but the coaching leaves so much to be desired. Rooting for a new coaching staff doesn't make anyone less of a fan. We all want the program to succeed, and telling someone they aren't a fan because they see things different is old and tired. It doesn't hold any water

I agree with this take 100%. Leadership is going to wake up one day and seriously regret the direction they took this program in. The drain may turn into a flood if Crean is extended though.

Not sure about final 4, but agree that they will be better than they are. Tatum, as talented as he is, kills their offensive flow. He tries to be the man all the time instead of kicking to open shooters. If Allen finds his footing and they realize Kennard should be the first option, they'll be scary.

Not saying it's a huge difference because it's still the same players, but Jeff Capel is a terrible coach

I'll probably get blasted for this, but I'm tired of this "too good to play the game" stuff some of our fans are about. If you wanna be squeaky clean and mediocre at the same time, be my guest. I'll take playing the game, just like all the other top programs do, if that's what it takes to get IU back to the top. This holier than thou attitude about our program really bugs me when we aren't even nationally relevant half the time. "But we graduate players and do it the right way" give me a break. College basketball is a business, we need to treat it like one to succeed.

Who cares. I think IU will be MUCH better off getting rid of a mediocre coach and starting fresh. The media can say what they want to say, in the end it will benefit us and that's all that matters
