I understand your point too. They do have different skill sets. My comparison and connection relates to upside, athleticism, national recognition, etc... In addition to other sources, my man basketball4iu has stated publicly that April and Priller are very far behind and plain not very good. I am not basing everything on that claim but it fits in to support everything else. I would love as much as anything for these guys to prove us all wrong but do I want to give 4 years of scholarship to get "Jeff Howard" like production for a season or 2? perfect point. Conscious stream of thought. Not too far off topic. Oh, and BTW OG is a legit prospect that has upside. Recognized in the FALL prior to his Senior season. Another reason, he is not like April and Priller. And another BTW I think Howard is a fair comparison (upside-wise) to Priller. Except Howard is better from what I've heard. Also, people take this as player bashing. It is not. We are happy for these kids but question the "higher ups" for their decision making. That same argument can be made of his shooting? Small video clips of his shooting too. It doesn't take long to judge ones athleticism. Walk into an open gym and you know the uncoordinated ones in an instant. It doesn't take the full game to determine. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners

Found this: As a junior last season, Anunoby averaged 21.3 points, 9.9 rebounds and 3.4 blocks in 21 games before breaking his wrist last in the season. Also, Averaged 5.3 ppg for Team Thad in 6 games. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners

There is good reason he is a 5* or borderline 5* on all recruiting services.  And playing BIG is a BIG part of that!

I can echo Stuhoo's analysis.  He doesn't like to get scored on.  Goes hard for blocks.  Plays strong.   He did force some things offensively which looked bad at times, but he looked like a MAN.

Really hope we can pull a rabbit out of the hat with Thomas Bryant!  He would compliment our current team in the perfect way.    TELL HIM he gets a FREE trip to MAUI, HAWAII if he signs up to play for our beloved HOOSIERS!!!!!!
