I would guess this was likely made in the early 80s based on these players, celebrating roughly Knights first 10 years are so. It has none of the Alford area players or after.

Almost all of the portal peeps that left stayed until their meeting, and then declared for the portal immediately after talking with D Rock. So the fact they took the meeting and then left right after probably answers that question on who's idea it was. Everyone was tight lipped about the specifics after though.

Status on our missing players, please.

Drew Adams is here because of his Indiana specific and Midwest ties more broadly, plus he's been plugged in somewhat in Europe. -
You can absolutely set a hard rule that you have to be on the team and eligible by the start of the season to play in that season. There would be no way to argue otherwise. It isn't like some of their other rules.

Ok, picking up a European pro mid season semester break is a bridge too far for me on this stupid deal NIL has become.

I'm not arguing their point one way or the other. But they would argue that almost all of their road games in the ACC are sell outs (90 plus percent) vs 23 percent of the games they aren't involved in. The game ratings on TV are generally up as well. And they do rev share in other sports. But whatever the point was, my point was they were not asking to ACC to advocate for them which was what was being said in this thread. They wanted them to not say anything.
-
To be fair to ND, that's not what they argued at all. They just said that as the ACCs biggest football business partner and a member of the conference in every other sport, the ACC as a conference should have been neutral and Miami should have said whatever they wanted to about it.

Well he jumps, and then his leg goes wonky and he's then limping and jumping on one leg for the rest of the time.

There are two PEEGS posters stating from different sources he's out for the CFP, one said "i can confirm a DL is out for the CFP, but due to HIPPA I can't confirm which one" The other was a guy at Kent State who said he's hearing that from the football team.

At first I thought it was nothing. But there's been a flurry in the last 3 hours of this bubbling up again with people saying he's out for the playoff. Cig did say there were no injuries to affect things going forward. I was hoping someone might have heard something.

I didn't mean this to be overly negative. I don't hate the players on this roster, I think a lot of them are good, just not very athletic. I know we are spending good money on the coaching staff, which is important. I'm just shocked at some of the teams spending more money that us, and I agree with most, it really seems like we are spending in the 10-20 range this year, and probably in the back half of that honestly.

Do we actually know if this is a real injury or not?

I started wanting to discuss this after Thanksgiving week (and then the hamster went on strike), when I saw a whole lot of the elite teams in the tournaments this week. Previously, it seemed to be a fairly certain conclusion that Indiana was spending a ton of money, and was likely in the top 7, and likely higher than that. However when I looked at our roster and compared it to several others over that week, I just didn't buy that we were even top 10, and thought we were probably closer to 15 honestly. Which still is good, but not what I was lead to believe. Then the Louisville game happened, including seeing a player who was interested in coming here and we got outbid on, and I just think that it's obvious this roster isn't one of those high end rosters from a talent (which to me means money) perspective. I think we appear to have spent around 10 million on this roster between rev share, and NIL, and there's teams I've seen that I think are spending double that or more. And several that are at least 5 million more, based on what their player look like athletically. Did some of the donors who were all in helping for Woody back out and take a wait and see? Is the Football success canibalizing the NIL. I'm focusing on NIL, because I think we are more than competitive in our Rev Share. I think that our investment in the coaching staff and those types of things are closer to the top than our NIL player budget. What's your thoughts?

So we know now that the team can perform pretty well hung over.
