Woodson is BY FAR the best piece on this team. I get frustrated at times but he’s doing the most with what he has. We cannot say the same about the last 2 guys. This roster is very poorly constructed. We need to make a big big splash in the portal this year. I’m bullish on Jalen Hood Schifino. I think he’s gonna be a stud but we need so much that I’m worried we are looking at a 2-3 year build before we are competitive in the conference. A lot can happen in a short time but we aren’t accustomed to that kind of turnaround as IU fans. I’m going to go throw darts at my Brad Stevens poster now.

I agree with this. I also understand the frustration with TJD. If he’s supposedly one of the captains and the leader of the team then he’s doing an awful job. He doesn’t lead on the court and he apparently doesn’t command respect or authority off the court either. I remember listening to Alford talk about how Knight would punish him for his teammates not doing what they were supposed to be doing…. Bc he was the captain and leader of the team.if TJD is the leader of this team then his peers don’t respect him as such. That’s a problem moving forward. The 5 suspended players are completely selfish for their actions and honestly I wouldn’t lose any sleep if they were all gone after the season is over.

Missing the tournament this season would be devastating.

Wisconsin has beaten Purdue and MSU convincingly on their home courts. I bet you they stomp us.

I agree we have the firepower to beat northwestern but we are also fully capable of losing to northwestern at full strength as well. Losing this game may very well end up meaning something. We are not solidly in the tournament yet. We have a rough stretch that is looking like bad news at the moment.

We need to bring in kids who have experience winning. This entire roster is made up of guys who are used to losing at the collegiate level.

These two teams may be able to contend for an Indiana High School State Championship.

We should find out quite a bit about our team in this one. Northwestern has looked really good lately and they always seem to get up for IU. Not as confident about this one as I’d like to be.

This game and the Michigan game shows us really how far away we are from having a roster that can contend. We are at minimum 2-3 years away.

That’s one example. The ncaa refs are hands down worse. They constantly dictate the pace of the game and are the most inconsistent in any major sport. Zero flow to an NCAA game. B1G refs may be the worst of them all.

Agree. Cannot risk him getting his 3rd in the 1st half. Keep it close and unleash him in the 2nd.

Just turned the game on. Happy to see the score despite TJD being in foul trouble. The uniforms are awful. Adidas is so far behind Nike and Under Armour in terms of their design appeal. I’ve seen better creativity with our uniforms from early teenage designers online that don’t have access to near the tech or resources adidas does. ok I’m done. Adidas triggers me.
