Also, the schedule for next year has nothing to do with the coach.

Oh. And I asked what his deal was with the article he wrote on the IU coaching search. “Guessing just like everyone else. IU is a huge program, writing articles is part of the job, but it gets views because it’s IU”.

So I couldn’t get much from him unfortunately. But, to me that’s a good thing. There’s been pretty much zero chatter, nor leaks for a month about coaches. He said it doesn’t matter that the season is still going on, he would still hear of legitimate names. And he hasn’t. I asked him if the “5 min zoom call” was legitimate. He laughed and said no. No one at brads status would only give 5 min of time. That’s disrespectful. I also asked if he heard the $100 million number and if there was a verbal agreement (which came from the IU sources via Chris, Yeagley, etc). He hadn’t heard that but he did confidently say Brad turned down a 7 year 70 million offer last time. I asked if I should trust the IU sources from a weeks ago, and he said at this point I could, because it’s eerily quiet on his end. He thinks Dolson has known for months who the next coach will be. That’s all I’ve got.

I said this afternoon. It’s 2pm my time. And for those who think I’m full of ****, I told Chris via PM a few weeks ago who my biggest “national” connection is. He’s an AP voter out east. Do you want me to share or not? Chill out.
