Pike shouldn't have a problem winning their game. -
I doubt it but we would have to win the conference tournament or a game in the conference tournament to possibly have a chance.

I always thought that he had this sense of arrogance and a chip on his shoulder and I don't know maybe I'm wrong. -

Feb. 15, 2015 Final Stats HENDERSON, Nev. – The Indiana softball team dropped two games in the Wilson/DeMarini Desert Classic on Saturday, falling to Cal State Northridge and New Mexico. In the first game of the day, Cal State Northridge jumped out to an early 4-0 lead in the first inning, including a two-RBI home run by Taylor Nate. The Matadors hit four home runs during the course of the game, including a second one by Taylor Glover one inning later as Cal State Northridge held a 6-0 lead heading into the bottom of the second inning. Indiana (2-7) sophomore CaraMia Tsirigos answered with a home run of her own as a solo shot to right field put the Hoosiers on the board. The Hoosiers added four more runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to shrink the Matadors’ lead to 6-5. Junior Kassi Farmer got the scoring started for Indiana with a solo shot to right-center field. Senior Shannon Cawley then brought in a run on a groundout, followed by a RBI single from junior Michelle Huber. Freshman Taylor Uden scored on an error by the Matadors as they tried to rein in Huber’s single. However, three errors in the sixth inning would cost the Hoosiers as they led to three Cal State Northridge runs. One inning later, the Matadors hit back-to-back solo home runs while also collecting a run on an RBI double to secure the 12-5 victory. The Saturday evening contest saw the Hoosiers jump out to a 7-0 lead against New Mexico after pushing six across the plate in the third inning. Cawley went yard on a two-run home run to right field, followed by runs scored on a bases-loaded walk, passed ball, fielder’s choice and a wild pitch. The Lobos would respond in a big way as they registered four straight hits in the bottom of the fourth inning to make it 7-3. A three-RBI double by Jasmine Casados tied up the game before New Mexico’s seventh hit of the inning gave the Lobos their first lead on an RBI double by Mariah Rimmer. Trailing by one run heading into the seventh, the Hoosiers started off the inning by Tsirigos reaching on a New Mexico error. After sophomore Erin Lehman came in as a pinch runner for Tsirigos, senior Brianna Meyer moved her into scoring position with a sacrifice bunt. A flyout by junior Kelsey Dotson put Lehman at third base, setting up an RBI single by sophomore Kayla Mathewson to tie the game at 8-8. A lead-off single and one-out double by the Lobos put runners on second and third base in the bottom half of the inning. After an intentional walk to Brandi Heimburg loaded the bases, Shelbie Franc singled to score the game-winning run. The Hoosiers close out play in the Wilson/DeMarini Desert Classic on Sunday as they face Utah State tomorrow at noon ET. http://www.iuhoosiers.com/sports/w-softbl/recaps/021515aaa.html

Will Sheehey - FC Porto (Portugal)
OliviaPope40 replied to LIHoosier's topic in Hoosiers in the Pros
Will Sheehey, the former Indiana University star, has asked to be traded by the Mad Ants and has been removed from their active roster. He will not be in the lineup Friday at Canton, Ohio, as defending champion Fort Wayne (22-14) tries to win for the 15th time in 19 games. “It came as a surprise to me,” Mad Ants president Jeff Potter said. “But Will was unhappy with his role on the team and didn’t want to move forward with us, so we’re going to do our best to come to a resolution.” Sheehey, 23, had played eight games since joining Fort Wayne on Jan. 29, including three starts and was averaging 5.8 points, 2.9 rebounds and 19.4 minutes per game. “It’s a player’s request and I’m disappointed,” Potter said. “I was hoping he would be a part of our attempt to repeat as champions this year and be a big part of us in the future. But we’ll do our best to find a resolution in the meantime.” To take Sheehey’s place, the Mad Ants have activated 25-year-old Greg Foster, a native of Indianapolis, who has played one minute of one game this season. After scoring eight points in 13 second-half minutes during his debut – a 103-94 loss to Iowa – Sheehey scored 26 points over the next two games. But in the last five games, his playing time had waned. He appeared in only seven minutes, going 0 for 5 from the field, in the last two games both victories coming after the Mad Ants signed guard Trey McKinney-Jones, who had been with them last season. Sheehey was the first Indiana player to be selected Sixth Man of the Year in the Big Ten, a feat he accomplished in his junior season of 2012-13. In that season, the Hoosiers won the conference title and he averaged 9.5 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists. As a senior, he averaged 11.4 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.8 assists and was honorable mention all-conference. He wasn’t drafted last year and tried out for several NBA teams – he played for the New York Knicks in Summer League – and then signed in Montenegro, where he played nine games. The Mad Ants’ scoring load has been shouldered by guard Andre Emmett, who has averaged a team-best 26 points over the last five games, while Gary Talton has averaged 17.4 and C.J. Fair has averaged 15.4. Sheehey had been added to the roster for his hustle and defensive play, more than anything, but those are also attributes McKinney-Jones brings to the court. After breaking his nose taking a charge in Sunday’s 91-81 victory at Memorial Coliseum over Grand Rapids, McKinney-Jones is expected to play at Canton (20-16). http://www.journalgazette.net/blog/mad-antics/Sheehey-asks-to-be-traded-5259739 -
