I can't stand decision day drama. I'm getting my hopes up right now only to have them crushed in 8 hours.

I hate this defense this year... But here's to hoping that we hold Minny under 40 this week! I'd be a lot happier if that happened. P.S. - even if we get to a bowl game, he HAS TO BE fired. This defense is AWFUL

This poll is getting close, but that does not mean that the people picking IU are even close to right...

I don't think there is anything that deep to it at all. He just wants to visit. Sure it seems like he's in a rush, but no one will really know why until he actually comes. Most people believe he'll be a spring commit, so I definitely don't think it has anything to do with committing. Just wants to come check out the team/campus again, I guess.

I agree with this 100%. If we don't get any of the three, we are still in great shape. A young team with no one having to transfer or give away their scholarship. It allows the team to grow together, which builds better team chemistry. AND, we all know that both Blackmon and Lyle will be drama queens and demand the ball/playing time. I like our team now, and I like the prospect of them growing together (even without Sheehey and Gordon).

We are young. And there is plenty of room to grow. I think we all know neither of those will happen, so it's time to set your expectations a little lower. Such as: Top 5 in B1G NCAA Tourney appearance, followed by NCAA Tourney run We all need to realize that this team is talented, but very young and will have ups and downs throughout the season. Expectations can't be that high...

I still think we have no shot with Blackmon and at this point, very little chance with DRob. Lyle is looking like our last resort at this point, and I'd be ecstatic if we got him. Any one of the three would be awesome to have.

Also, with being able to shoot, if he plays the 3 at times he will have a huge size advantage regularly. On top of that, I'm sure he's got crazy length, just considering he is 6'8. I'm not worried at all. I love the pickup. He's a 3* now, but he's relatively unheard of. I think his reputation will increase throughout the season, possibly get up to a 4*

Yeah I really don't think that oversigning is a problem. Crean will make it work AND who's to say that we are going to get two more? In my opinion, I still think Blackmon goes to Kentucky and no one is entirely sure about Robinson due to his tight-lipped recruitment. Lyle is a wildcard, it could happen or it could not. I don't think we need him and I also think that if we get Robinson or Blackmon or both, the Lyle recruitment is over (we have MULTIPLE guys who can run the point, especially with the addition of Johnson and maybe Blackmon). No need to worry guys, there are expendable options on the team. I know it's tough to do, but it happens. I like every single guy on the team and hope they can all perform well, but we all know that one of them will either hate how much PT they get or become injury prone. It happened to Abell, it happened to Creek. That being said, let's hope we get 2 out of Blackmon, Robinson, and Lyle. All three of them are DEFINITE upgrades over half of our scholarshipped players, even as freshmen.
