  14. Looks confirmed from what Stu posted above. Yogi gettin' paid! The Dallas Mavericks plan to sign Yogi Ferrell to a two-year NBA contact when his 10-day contract is complete, league sources tell Peegs.com. Per NBA rules, a player on a 10-day contract has to complete that contract before signing another one. Ferrell has played 35 minutes or more in each of his first three games with the Mavericks, all wins, and has 15 assists against four turnovers in those games. Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle has been effusive in his praise of Ferrell, noting both Ferrell’s play and high basketball IQ in picking up things quickly. Ferrell had nine points, seven assists and zero turnovers in his first game with the Mavericks. In his three games with the Mavericks, Ferrell has 39 points, 15 assists, 10 rebounds, seven steals and four turnovers. Ferrell, who received a $100,000 signing bonus, this year will receive a prorated portion of the NBA minimum ($543,471) for a player with zero years experience. He has made $32,000 on each of his 10-day contracts. Under the current collective bargaining agreement, the minimum for an NBA player with one year experience is $874,636. http://www.scout.com/college/indiana/story/1752429-sources-mavs-to-sign-ferrell-to-2-year-deal
