Agreed. If anything, IU passing on him because of off court issues, and then him getting arrested goes to show they were right to pass on him.

fwiw, any Beard smoke that is there is coming from the agent side because beard wants the job. It's a hard no from the athletic department side, he was passed on before het got arrested.

If the list gets past the first guy, Stevens, then something major fell through IMO. Scott’s wanted him for a while.

One star player saying he isn’t coaching again doesn’t mean anything especially when there are other former players who say he will coach again. Doesn’t mean he will come to IU, but saying the rumors are false is flat out wrong.
