Definitely, I know they were wanting to schedule teams who go out west to have 2 games while out there to minimize the travel. They have been grouping UCLA and USC on a trip with Oregon and Washington as the other group. I think they do the same thing with the teams out west going to the Midwest. They group them with 2 games to reduce the amount of travel.

I know for a fact that I would rather stay in Southern California for a few days as opposed to coming back to snow and 20° temps for a day and head back out. I know I wouldn't leave until I had to seeing it is in the 70s out there. LOL

Success means that coaches will be leaving for those promotions. Hate to see him go, but good for him.

In baseball, that can be very useful.

UK kicked Gillispie out the door after 2 years when he had a 22 - 14 season record and 8 - 8 in the SEC. The AD said that he "not a good fit". The administration at IU didn't want a coach to be bigger than the university and knocked it down a few pegs. Now with an AD and a President who wants them to be good, it is a matter of time to get it back up there. I personally think that CDD will do much better in the portal this next summer and will learn what he is needing to win in the B1G. If not, he will be out in a couple of years. I like the guy and think he is a good X & O's dude, and I would love to see him succeed and be a legend. If he doesn't, go find the guy who will.

I am not too fond of Florida or Golden, but .... I want them to kill Alabama on the court if the stuff about the judge being a donor is true.

Tebow was also exposed in the NFL. He was a great college QB, but he didn't have a skill set that translated to the NFL at all. He did have a very noisy base of "fans" who cheered him on and were angry if you pointed out any of the flaws of his game. Fernando has the skill set of a NFL QB just from the throws he can make and his mindset. Tebow had the mindset and toughness, but he just didn't have the skill set. The Jets tried to make him a TE because of his toughness which would have been interesting to see if it worked. The dude was built like a truck.

Looks like a judge ruled that Duke must enter his name in the portal. It looks really slimy because of the multi-year deal he signed, and they are trying to keep him from enrolling in another school for the Spring.
