    I have tickets to the game tomorrow at Wrigley, and I have thought about wearing my Schwarbs Cubs jersey and not my World Series gold trimmed Arietta jersey. Of all the players from that 2016 to let go or trade, Rizzo and Schwarbs were the 2 I wanted to see stay.

    And showing that he can recruit some high end talent. I am hoping that he can show he can thrive and be an elite coach here given time.

    Sounds like someone isn't happy that he left or couldn't coach him up as well as he could of. Ball protection will be important for him this next year though.

    If they are needing to hit the portal, I take it that he has assistants lined up and already combing through it for either LSU or NC State. If I were NC State and found out that they are leaving next week for some place else, they wouldn't be using my facilities or equipment for the next school.

    They have the money seeing they had to pay a ton to Brian Kelly and do Kiffen's buyout. That extra $2 million is pocket change after all that.

    NC State isn't playing right now, so why wait till next week unless they really need to talk him into it.

    A good enough seed to avoid a 1 or 2 seed in the second round to have a good chance for that second weekend.

    Possibly scheduling it the same night as the first round of the draft just seems odd to me. I get having a place for a bunch of people to celebrate Mendoza, but having the spring game at the same time just seems odd. Maybe it is just me

    The difference between Norad and Woody is that Norad is a lot younger, and he has coached in college before. Woody was at the age that he wasn't willing to change what he was doing or used to till he was forced to one way or another. Being younger should allow Norad to grow into the job to learn, but it is all about the ABC's, Always Be 'Cruiting

    I take it that Cig will not be with Fernando and the others in the draft like you normally see with college coaches?

    CDD tried to get Bidunga last year, but he chose Kansas. He probably would've changed the whole season, or at least he wouldn't have made it worse.

    That would be the most LSU thing that LSU could do. They fire the guy 4 years ago for all the NCAA infractions and Federal investigations he racked up, but they bring him back with all that baggage. LOL

    IU or Butler are the only 2 coaching jobs he would entertain if he went back to college, and he isn't going any time soon as he is killing it running the Celtics.

    And they will be in the position in 5 to 6 years that UNC is in now I do believe. Scheyer is about the only promoted coach of the top of my head right now, and I believe that he was basically running a lot of team the last year or 2 of Coach K.

    There is no way in the world I would ever question his "recruiting" ability. LOL

    I didn't think Golden was all that last year while they were drooling all over him. He put together one helluva team to win it all, and he deserves credit for that and for getting the job done. He still has a lot to learn.

    The media leak or the announcement that they were discussing his job for next season can only be him leaving or an extension. I don't see an extension coming. Their delaying the inevitable isn't the best thing for them.
