Byington is a good option if you have watched his teams play. They spread it out and they get at it on D. He is winning pretty well at a place that doesn’t win very often in the best conference this year.

I think if it was a college coach who was successful at mid major or high major they would back it and give it a chance. People don’t want another Woodson or a coach who has failed at a high major job once or twice.

Why is Shaka killing it at Marquette but not Texas? Some coaches just do better at those lower levels and that’s fine. They just can’t get the best talent to do what they want. That’s fine.

I think he evaluated hustle type of players well that worked at Dayton. He needed players that could put up with his **** and type of style. Same applies for Shaka who couldn’t get it to work at Texas.

Millers biggest problem is he is a better coach at a lower level and that’s fine. I think the same of Crean. They just need to get a certain type of player to play for them and that’s fine. I think the same of Shaka Smart. It would be dumb for him to leave Marquette. Woodson can’t coach at any level. High or mid major or NBA.

Aaron Torres said Donovan will be fired and could be interested in coming back to college.
