If Duke wins by 35 they set the record most games won by 35 in a row at 4. So…here’s hoping!

I think I would be hard pressed not to have Hurley on that list and possibly ahead of the two listed. Not many. I wanted to say Montgomery or (Pink) Floyd. But after reexamining their records it really wasn’t that bad, and you could argue almost all of the ones that didn’t reach their former heights was the result of them taking worse jobs. There was a time I wanted IU to throw a brinks truck at Montgomery and was shocked he left for the pros. Bottom line: if you’ve proved you were a good coach in the college game a stint in the pros doesn’t magically make that go away. Stevens would kill it here and if you’ve proved gave truth serum to all the P5 ADs in the country all but UConn (and maybe Kansas and Baylor) would probably admit they’d jettisoned their current coach for Stevens. But that’s also the reason he isn’t coming to IU: he can go nearly anywhere including staying at his current, very coveted job. -
He’s fine and I know their metrics are good. But if we’re being honest so were Caliparis teams and he was halfway run out of town. Different environment down there and losing decades long home winning streaks and to your former coach will leave a mark.

Good win on the road going west. -
I hope Pope is enjoying this season, because I think the honeymoon is over next year.

And UW goes on a mini run leading to a TO. I will never understand Woodson for as long as I watch IU basketball. Baffling. -

He’s also two years older and had much better coaching the last 4-6 years of his life. I wouldn’t necessarily give up on mbako, or Rice, if we get a good coach. Mbako is a natural shooter at least. -

Both have a role. We have played almost no two big lineups tho which I think is the difference. Better late than never… -

That should not be a foul on Ballo. Screen was blind, nor was he set, and Ballo just played through it -

It’d be the ultimate knight job to make everyone think he was against those things but then partake. -
I don’t think he’s the greatest X’s and O’s coach, but he’s pretty good at everything thing else. Seems like a good dude too

Same. I always thought he was a teetotaler, but near the end when stories came out I feel like I heard a few about him being drunk or drinking -

Gallo passes out of a 3 foot runner so rice can take a 8 foot runner. We’ve gotten sloppy -

I’ve pinpointed it. The jerseys mix the 80s Bulls cursive letter type with the late 90s Bulls black jerseys. -

Out of all the alt unis I like these best, but they kind of remind me of my old hs unis. still I’m old school and still prefer our traditional ones -
Hurley calling a timeout so the two Providence walkons can get in at the end and both of them scoring on the final possession is why college basketball is awesome. One of many reasons, anyways.
