Watch Phin pound the air out of the ball or watch X turn it over. Tough choice. I *think* I go with X because he can occasionally take it to the rim and finish. Also anyone that has coached or been coached has probably heard the “errors of omission vs errors of commission” spiel which X embodies. But damn if he doesn’t take it so far sometimes that you have to wonder if it’s even worth it. If this team had a top 5 in the B1G level pg it would be a consistent top 25 team and a 4/5 seed in the tourney. So frustrating to watch X and Phin struggle out there.

Yep. The positive spin is that we’re a one-man team and we closed out a game on the road without our all American for the last five minutes.

Good for him. I don’t like seeing kids transfer, even if they’re not very good. But the upside is that it opens up a spot to bring in some much needed talent.

But then the starters came back in and went on several big runs. Everything is connected. You can’t just not take the starters out

We did that in the first half and was our best half. We didn’t in the second and the starters pissed the game away. I don’t think the mass subs were our problem tonight

Yea. Iowa is horrible at defense. When crean left mcaffery became the worst defensive coach in the league, imo. Sad we melted under it. Baylor would hold us possession-less
