We match up well with them. And it’s home. It’s literally the game we need to win to be a tourney team (we’re a 9-11 seed now). I don’t have confidence we win tho.

Welp…whatever happened I support Woodson. You build a program by setting boundaries and enforcing culture your first year. Sacrificing that for an extra win or two in year one is never worth it.

Fair. Perspective posts are worth considering in a coach’s first year. Disappointed today but our goal remains the same: scratch and claw our way into the tourney. From there seeding and matchups probably dictate if we win any games. But we have a punchers chance to have a fun game or two. Let’s just hope these guys can fight there way in and maybe even stick around that 7th seed range.

I think Woody has been doing a good job, but he didn’t have a good day today. Bad game plan. Bad half time adjustments. It happens. Its beyond obvious TJD can’t play the bigger centers straight up. Were small and need to front and help like Race was doing at the end of the first half. It’s also obvious you can’t feed TJD in the post as the basis of your offense against those guys. Our perimeter players aren’t great but we have depth. We have to run and pressure these bigger teams. Kind of like we did Purdue at times. TJD has to play like a role player in these type of games and not some focal point. We literally played better without him at times today because we weren’t trying to let him matchup with Kofi.
