Great!! I got to talk to him and loved his interaction with my grandson. Seems like a really good person off the court. I love his game and hopefully he makes a big jump next year.

I have heard those same things but if you look at where we are we have only made the Touney 2 times in the last ??? years. We got a guy right now that is old enough to be his dad, and we have some who would bring back Sampson in the name of winning. If you know your limitation as we did when we hired CMW then we could put the same type of GM in place to help with areas, we think he lacks. Not saying he is the man just saying we have done way worse based on the standards we are holding him to, IMO.

What is the overall feeling on why several do not want Alford. What has he done or not done to make him not desirable? Serious question since we have been horrible the past several years with other coaches.

At this point i would take Alford. At least he knows the college game and has proven he can get teams to tourney.

exactly, they want to be part of an offense that runs screens for them to get open and have shots. Not wait until there this is nothing else and then jack up a last second 3.

i am not sure the fanbase is as fractured as some say. I think True Fan or Not you can have an option and be critical of what you are watching and still love IU. I am critical of my kids when they do things but it never means I am not a true parent or that i don't love them. The notion that you not a true fan if you don't just support what you see is all BS to me.

Woodson invented these classes while at IU.

Need to do what is best for the program long term and not knee-jerk reactions for individuals.
