I was trying to get student section named based on the potential coaches but no one had any suggestions. Like Cronin's Corner or the BS student section. I know these suck but I was trying.

Very possible. I have no issue, and he was high on my list for sure but after looking at some others I just like the longer-term possibility for the future. If IU hired Pearl, I would not be upset at all. I would actually be very happy with that pick.

Mike Davis took IU to the final Game and well..... Not saying May is not a great coach, just can he do it year over year. His sampling is small, but he is showing signs of a guy that can do it. If we end up with him, I will support it and hope he can sustain the same culture at IU.

I am really warming up to Cronin. After looking at his record at Murry, Cincinnati and now UCLA he has proven he can win. Assuming Brad ****** Stevens is off the table, I could get on board with this pick. Pearl was high on my list but as I have read and listen, I don't think he is a long-term answer. I don't want to be back in the coach search in 5 more years. May is interesting, he does have the connection to IU, but can he win long term. He is young in his career so to speak, and he only has a two really good season not counting this year at Michigan. Nate Oats is another one that may fit the same level of winning as Cronin. Who knows, I just hope we get a proven coach with a proven foundation for winning games.

This is spot on. Foundation of what you do has to be successful. See Cignetti as he was at different schools. His process and foundation worked at every stop. This is what IU basketball needs.

As I said once before, I get my hopes up reading everything and listening to all the possibilities which is fun and then we get blindsided with a coach out of nowhere like Woodson. I am getting too old for this and would love to see them relevant again before I can no longer watch and enjoy the game.

I am still of the opinion that Dolson had a clear plan prior to us getting to the retirement (wink, wink) announcement. You don't get to his position without a plan and in most cases, there are several versions of that plan because anything can happen. See 4 years ago. He is likely connected to several agents and in the end, there has to be a mutual agreement on the numbers. He should be vetting and looking at each of those individually and seeing what works.
