    Wouldn’t you want a coach who doesn’t have anything that could possibly lead a recruit another way that is well documented? All i was getting at is some families will not like it, SOME.

    I will also add i know some recruits families will not like Beard as coach either, not all, or even a majority but some. If i remember correctly the mcneelys were a shoe in for Texas until Beard had his situation.

    Coyle isn’t my favorite but he brought up a good point on rivals, considering the lawsuit iu is dealing with at the moment it doesn’t seem wise to hire Beard…. Simply just adding this for discussion. again with the stance that I know beard would win games before people jump at me

    Wanted to add that on peegs they’re phrasing it as “beard is a possibility” with is not an absolute.

    Can’t convince me it’s Beard at this point. The people we seemingly trust the least have said they have no idea what SD is thinking and they’re the ones who threw out Beards name. I’ll be first to acknowledge Beard would win games but I really just don’t see IU hiring him.
