Signs of life! And to think, I had a post typed up that this felt worse than the Lynch years. How the turntables! -

I didn't think it was possible, but the run game might be even worse than last year's. -

Yeah I'm not loving the lack of mis-direction/disguises on offense. I know the line is bad but there's enough talent at skill positions to get guys in space and have a more efficient offense. Bazelak should not be 14/32 right now. -

Literally the first time I've heard this quote in my life..... "This run defense has been so tout with that 3 man front." ****ing WOOF. -

I'd love to hear what you've seen that suggests otherwise. This feels like a 3 win team. What would you call it? -

Yes. Not like you should have noticed though. -

It would be great to have a unit on either side of the ball that didn't completely rely on one person for once. I just don't see an ascending program here. What are our options? -

The kid from Indy that transferred from Florida is the last one I remember. Blanking on the name at the moment. -

The returning snaps % metric that was parroted all off-season was never a positive. Not sure why so many writers framed it that way. -

I'm gonna have to disagree there. The OL is consistently blowing up drives by providing zero running lanes. Illini are just sitting back in pass coverage because there is zero running threat. -

Winning the trenches is like football 101. Going to be a long year if the lines can't start holding their own better. -

It's really hard to fathom the O-line looking worse than they did that drive. -
Is the Sharpe kid participating in 5v5? I would assume no, but he's the one guy that I'm sure everyone is dying to see outside of a 1/4 speed lay-up line.

Non-event based on the details WISH-TV just shared. Discipline in practice, give him a 1-2 game suspension, and move on. All the ivory tower grandstanding is how you stay 9th-10th in the B10 every year. You're all lucky social media wasn't around 40 years ago.

2022 NCAA Tournament / Bracket Reveal

Durham the only one keeping Providence in this one late. Happy for that guy -
This is just atrocious. Wow. Edit: Sanity prevails.

Dane + Lander to Evansville probably contends with UNI and Loyola in the MVC. He could flip this narrative pretty quickly if successful.

This guy officially has my attention. Good length, active on defense, can create for himself off the dribble going towards the basket or creating space on the perimeter, and seems to have deep range (lots of 3's 2-4 feet beyond the line). Has played well anytime the competition has ratcheted up as well. 27 points vs Wisky & 19 vs Murray State this year, 17 & 7 vs Ohio State last year.

I don't recall us making his final list of 8 or 10 or whatever it was. Wonder if the staff will poke around again. Certainly fits a major need.

IU vs St Mary’s - Thursday: NCAA Round of 64- 7:20 pm ET on TBS

The travel is pretty irrelevant in my opinion. What is relevant is the fact this team played 5 games in 8 days - all of which were tournament level games. 20 years old or not, the human body needs more than 2 days off in that stretch to recover. I thought this was fairly obvious with how quickly the starters got gassed. They looked good the first 7-8 minutes but just had nothing in the tank after that first stretch. Having said that, others are obviously free to disagree, but I'll never understand the incessant clown behavior some are exhibiting on this thread. That's more embarrassing than the blow-out could ever be. Make your point and move on.
