This is the 2nd time in as many years where we've tried the "2 bigs and a 4 that wants to be a 3" lineup. It flat out doesn't work. Perimeter defense gets torched and there's not enough ball-handling and quickness on offense. Need to change the starting 5 sooner than later. -

I like Walker a lot. Just makes good basketball plays and has the length and athleticism off the bench we have really needed in recent years. -

Marian 32 points with 9 made 3's. Not ideal. Given up quite a few offensive boards as well. Mgbako looks like the real deal. Reneau noticeably improved. Continue to be pleasantly surprised with Walker. -

Newell is so impressive. Bit of a slow start for Liam so far but you can tell he brings a little Schifino to the court in how he moves. Smooth operator and knows how to make the right play. -
So..assuming Love is still a no-go? Fewer shots (and $) for him now than last time around.

Schifino IMO. Both are/were critically important to the next season's success as well as the trajectory/momentum of the program. A difference of ~10 spots in the rankings is meaningless. -

Yep. You get 4 maybe 5 draft picks over the course of 2 years and all the sudden recruiting hurdles start looking a little smaller against schools like Kansas, Duke, and Kentucky. This recruitment is huge for momentum in several ways. -
Very intrigued by Nembhard if he has interest in being closer to his brother. I don't mind his lack of size if you're trying to bring in Knecht, Ledlum, and Ware.

I can't stop laughing at Edey screaming every single time after he scores. His defender is like 6'3.

I would agree with that. I don't like the 5 attempts per game at that %. On the flip side, the guy was 56% from inside the arc on 10 attempts. Question is, can the staff put him in a position to do what he does well and limit the low efficiency shots? I think they could.
