It's not the committee which is pushing that narrative. It's the media, mainly ESPN and SEC shills who're pushing that. ESPN, who has a contract to broadcast SEC games but not B1G games.

To be fair, the schedule didn't look that weak entering the season. Defending national champs and the runner up both had huge drop-offs. MSU is usually a bowl team.

I'm disappointed by the loss but it is something to build on. IU still made the the CFP, that can't be taken away. This can be used to sell recruits that they're what's needed to take the next step.

This was the best football season of my life. Even if IU becomes consistently good/great this season will still remain very special to me. Such an amazing turn around. Taking a consistent loser (that knows they're a loser) and turning them into a winner over night. And making them believe. All the coach of the year awards and the raises are well earned because it was a truly amazing feat. I look forward to next season for one of the few times in my life.

For this year they've added an Olympic Gold medalist, a World Champion, and 2 NCAA runners up. Then today they added an Olympic bronze medalist for the 2nd semester. That's how you do transfers. They also have a legit chance to win the championship this year. Too late now for Woodson. He got his chance and blew it.
