News flash - off season hype and s#!t talking about rivals happens every year. What also happens every year is that individual players tend to not conform to preseason expectations for good or for bad. As does the team as a whole. People change their minds based on the actual results on the floor. Unfortunately for IU, the team results have underperformed expectations because so have many players. This has been going on for a while.

That's because it's a realistic list. He's toxic. Maybe his PR guy who was on here (I think he got a time our or permanently banned since he hasn't been posting 500 times per day?) can go to OSU boards and stump for him there.

The first 3 I get with their win percentages (and ties to IU or Indiana for the first 2). Why did you include the last 2? Their resumes aren't very impressive with sub-.600 winning percentages and no Indiana ties as far as I know.

They've played several teams this year missing a major starter, usually their lead scorer. I'm pretty sure they struggled in each one of those games.

My first thought when I saw that he was going to be the new OC was, "Is DeBoer trying to torpedo his job at Alabama before it even begins?" This seems like a bad decision.

Some teams have tons of assistant coaches that aren't on the bench for games. Those are probably the salaries for those kind of positions.

From what I remember, Miller and company were recruiting him (at least watching his games and getting visits) but never actually offered. Did they offer?

The coaches that would be scared off by the firing of coaches who don't win at IU are the coaches who don't believe they can win at IU. I'm not sure we'd want them anyways.

I remember that game. It was in Penn State's old "arena" (being generous calling it that) that was teeny tiny. I was very surprised when IU struggled so much to beat them that game because PSU wasn't very good.
