  1. Too bad IU tends to throw money at their coaches via buyouts then get cheap on coaching search.
  2. Unlikely. He has to adjust to the college game while recovering from a knee injury. I think it'll be a rough season for him.

    IU Basketball News and Notes

I'm not all sad that he transferred. I think this is an addition by subtraction in his case. Outgoing are 3 mid-major players. One of those, Stewart, seemed to have attitude issues. Incoming to replace those players are 2 top 30 recruits, another in the top 100, and a 3 star. So far, these 4 players seen like good guys and are willing to work.

Basketball videos? Where are the weightlifting videos everyone really wants?
  5. While I agree with him regarding Tom Allen, this doesn't need to come from a school that has been worse at football than IU during Allen's time as HC. Nebraska is a joke. I hope we kick their a$$es.

I hope he feels there's nothing left to achieve at the collegiate level after winning a NC his freshman year.

    (2023) - G Silas Demary

To be fair, they did say "University of Indiana" and not "Indiana University." Maybe they didn't get the name wrong. :)

(2024) - Liam McNeeley to UConn

This is why recruits add "not committed" to their posts.
  9. The good news is that it's 1 day closer to basketball season and 1 game closer to the end of football season

(2024) - Liam McNeeley to UConn

He didn't specify "not committed" like he did in his previous tweet. Does that mean he committed? Lol, jk
  11. So is this the last winnable game of the season? I'd say so unless there are massive improvements. So probably another 2-3 win season.

(2025) - PG Jalen Haralson to Notre Dame

Busy day for them. I love seeing the effort.
  15. He has a ton of talent/skill but he's made of glass so the probability of this happening is pretty low. I think he'll get injured around game 6.

    Soooo....Arrinten Page. Any updates?
  17. Leave it to the old timer to recognize the reality of IU football.

    Xavier Arrested...

Suspensions aren't part of the legal process so if they coach wanted to suspend him for something that happened but the charge was dropped due to his plea deal (as it was in this case), that would be perfectly within the coach's right. The coach could even suspend for something that happened in which there are no charges brought at all. That said, I don't personally think an off-season screw up of what basically boils down to speeding is worth a suspension 7 months later. But if Coach decides to suspend him, I would understand that, too.
  19. Do they have a good option 2 for the second half of the season?

    Xavier Arrested...

What's screwed up is that when the body cam shows that the officer is correct, the situation is handled quickly. I used to work in R&D working on the cameras at a company that was either the first or one of the first to make body cams for cops and even now equips a large number of them. Within days of starting a pilot program with a police department there was an officer involved shooting. Because of the body cam video, the officer of was cleared and back on the street in 3 days. Yet your son and your family had to deal with this for months when that should not have been necessary.
