Bama didn't just lose, they got blown out 24-3 to (then) 5-5 OK. All things being equal, 3-24 looks worse than 15-38 even though the latter lost by 2 more points. Only being able to score 3 points is no bueno.

ASU had 4th and goal from the 49? lol

Ah, got it. My mistake.

If IU loses to this PU team they don't deserve to be in the playoffs. Period. Doubly so since it's a home game. It doesn't matter at that point what other teams do.

He had the transfer portal at his next stop and it didn't work out for him.

Crean was definitely worse than Sampson as well as better than both Mike and Woodson. I wouldn't say that Miller was better than Woodson, however. Woodson isn't very good but he's still an upgrade after the disaster that Miller was

Yes, because OSU is obviously overrated since they lost to IU. IU isn't very good because they haven't beat anyone good. Anyone they beat isn't very good because they lost to IU. That's just how it goes. -
Man, Miller and Woodson have been so bad that people are pining for Crean to come back. Yikes.

And PU is really, really bad this year. IU could probably sit all the starters and still blow out PU. -
You've only had 3 years and 4 games (107 games total) on which to base your opinion. As we've been told with previous coaches, at least 4 years are required before one is allowed to have an opinion that isn't blind support. He's still saddled with Miller players Galloway and Leal. We need to wait until he has his own team. So maybe he needs year 5 since year 4 doesn't count because of that. Sure his team has underperformed expectations every year and last year was a total bust. As Woodson himself told us during the season, that was the players' fault, there's nothing wrong with the coaching. It takes a lot of time to turn around a team with a roster size of 13. You can't look at the immediate success that C^3 has had since it's much easier to turn the 80+ roster of a traditional loser around than to turn the IU basketball team into a contender.

If it bothers you so much, just put him on ignore. Simple solution. Yet you'd rather come on here and complain time and time again that someone isn't being a fan in the way you think people should be fans. Once again, thanks for your post padding contribution to this thread you hate so much.

(2025) QB - Julian Lewis to Colorado (for now)
go iu bb replied to Hovadipo's topic in Indiana Football Recruiting Forum
If you told me a year ago that IU had a legit chance to land a 5* QB then backed off and that I just shrugged and said "who cares?" when he committed elsewhere I would have called you a liar. Yet here we are. -
I wouldn't be surprised. ND suspended its whole men's swimming team for gambling this year. I doubt they're the only ones who do that and the only sport. Young men with extra money to spend will find ways to do so. Gambling will likely be one of those ways.

Other than that question, Meyer was pretty quiet during the interview. He's been high on IU for most of the season but that seems to have changed since they appear to be an actual threat to OSU. Here's an example of how they manipulate the narrative on schedules: they were talking about Alabama coming out of their bye week and beating LSU. They ignore that that was the 2nd game of a 3 game losing streak for LSU. Instead, it was something like, "Alabama took the soul out of them since they went and lost to Florida the next week." Basically giving Alabama credit for the Florida win against LSU, too. Ignite the losing streak, give credit for 2 of those games to Alabama. Got it. We should probably credit the 1st game of that 3 game LSU losing streak to Alabama as well since LSU was probably looking ahead to that game instead of concentrating on A&M. So Alabama sinks get credit for 2 or 3 wins against LSU instead of just the 1.

They lost to IU (IU!) of all teams. That just shows just how bad they are this year. Losing to IU. How the mighty have fallen... smh -

A ranked player from Louisville, KY being recruited by UK and Louisville? Ok, moving on. -
If IU were to play and beat an SEC in the playoffs, what would the excuses be? So many are blinded by brand bias. Yes, IU has been bad historically. That doesn't mean this year is a fluke.

It's interesting but unsurprising that people aren't talking about Texas' weak schedule. This Arkansas writer does, though, pointing out what a bunch of hypocrites their own conference is. https://www.si.com/college/arkansas/football/razorbacks-texas-longhorns-indiana-georgia-vanderbilt-sec-big-ten-playoffs

So before the season began, everyone looked at IU and said they brought in a bunch of lower end talent so wouldn't be good this year. Now that they're winning, they "bought" a team. Between the returning players from a 3-9 team last year plus all the Group of 5 transfers coming in, IU was selected at or near the bottom of the B1G entering the season. I remember and I'm sure the coaches and players remember too. Of course, IU wasn't on Tuberville's radar before the season so he just sees a 10-0 team ranked ahead of many teams from his beloved SEC and that they brought in a bunch of transfers. This while ignoring that IU was out spent in NIL by the teams he thinks should be above them. Those are some sour grapes he's eating.
-
They also only play 8 conference games instead of 9 for the B1G and B12. That helps prevent them from beating up on each other as much.

Here's the expected swimswam Practice + Pancakes from IU. https://swimswam.com/indiana-olympians-throw-down-in-sprint-middle-distance-workouts-practice-pancakes/ At the bottom of the page it has some links to when they last did it at IU in 2022. IU also has a good number of swims on this list even though they haven't competed much so far this season. https://swimswam.com/top-three-times-in-each-event-before-midseason-invites-mens-edition/ -
I hope you're right on both of those. It would make it harder to leave out a 1 loss IU team if they don't win Saturday. Let's not forget a few years ago when the B1G went out of its way to make sure OSU got to the conference championship game instead of IU. No reason to think the CFP committee wouldn't do the same thing if given the chance. IU winning at OSU puts them in the playoffs but barring that, other teams losing will help IU.
