12th in final Coaches' Poll as well. OSU below us in both polls.

Finished 12th in the final AP poll today.

She does play for the Brazilian national team and played at Montverde. She may not be able to step right in and contribute but with the right development could be a good pick up.

I do not hold any stock in way to early lists. NC State was not even on the first poll of the season and were in a similar situation as us at this time last year and they made the final four. The transfer portal and the growth of current and incoming freshmen will be the key to getting back in the top 25.

She said she didn’t know when the anthem would be played and that the team’s pre-game routine involves leaving the court 12 minutes before tip-off. “Honestly I don’t even know when the anthem was played,” she explained. “We kind of have a routine where we are on the floor then they come off at the 12-minute mark. Correct but given over 800 in portal, there are opportunities to find pieces. Those pieces may not be what we fans think are the right fit but this is where we have to place our trust in the coaches.

The offseason for Beaumont and Lamendola will be key to get stronger. Also, I expect Ali will be working with Bargesser on her shot all summer to 1) get it in a better position and 2) get the shot off quicker. We need Lexus to be able to score a bit to keep defenses from slacking off from her and clogging up the paint. Meister can be solid in a 1v1 but will need a lot of summer reps with doubles. Overall, excited to see what the future holds with the portal and the team make up. CTM will find a way to make us better.

I caught it. Paraphrased, they were talking about Dawn not taking a timeout during our run then they went on to say that she let them learn from it.

Perspective from OU coach Jennie Baranczyk when asked about how they were able to make Mack inefficient: "Inefficient for you" Mack was 12 for 23 and considered an off night but we have grown accustomed to 60% plus nights from her that we forget that other teams would love a 50% performance night in and night out.
