Tucker is entering the cesspool that is MSU athletics. He is going to have to be transparent and overt about cleaning up the mess.

This is what I have noticed as well. Those three disallow RP from getting to the rim and with no outside shooting the situation compounds.

He needs to bring in a GT that can shoot. Should have done it last year.

IMO consistent outside shooting fixes the spacing issues. AM needs to use a ship on a sharpshooting grad transfer.

He is in a tough spot because he has trashed Knight and some of the players that support him. He wasn't included in the process so I imagine he wants to bash the whole thing but knows the few listeners he still has will blast him for it.

We were blocked from seeing it live but the replay we saw at home looked awkward. It was a great moment overall, we sit among veteran fans who like us were there for much of his tenure. Many teary eyes. He obviously has serious issues and I suspect that yesterday plus list night when he was honored in Indy may be the last times we see him in public.

The longer they wait the tougher it is. The alumni in west balcony are season tickets and that is what I would sell the rest as.

Years ago as young alumni with a small points balance yet we started in the balcony and frankly if you are in the center three sections it isn't that bad. Typical "nosebleed" seats you have in any major arena. We got used to them quickly. Twentysomethings just getting started plus some older budget-minded folks will buy them up.

As a first step I would sell the West balcony student seats to the public as season tickets. there are already a number of alumni up there in CC and DD. Step two is to sell the East balcony off leaving the main for the kids. I think one of the many reason kids don't come is that they are afraid they will end up in the balcony. Self fulfilling prophecy gives you empty rows in GA main. If they have a ticket that is ensured to be Main GA I think that section fills more often. I like most of what Glass has done but he dug in on this "largest student section" claim and it isn't working except for big games.

Predict that Haarms will once again prance around in front of the students like a Ferret on crack and be rewarded for it with their love and affection.

One of my beefs with Glass has been his resistance to sell some of the 8K student seats to waiting young alumni who would fill them. There are too many games with an empty or near empty East balcony. 8K students is great for a big game but too many for the full season. The new AD needs to sell 1.5 - 2K to alumni.

BC was one of those guys that hometown fan loved because of the grit and effort but opposing fans hated for the same reasons. My only gripe with the kid was the elbows he threw. Today he would be a Flagrant 1/2 machine.

Much speculation at this point due in part to the history of allegations around the program. the timing is very curious but we will learn more over the coming weeks I assume.
